Cheating

Before delving further, it’s essential to state that we firmly oppose cheating. It’s detrimental to the Football Club community and undermines the integrity of the game. However, we’re here to shed light on cheating tactics, not to condone them. Our aim is to empower the Football Club community to recognize cheating and take appropriate action against it.

Let’s address a fundamental question: have you ever cheated in a game? It’s likely that many of us have done it at some point. Cheating has become ingrained in gaming culture. Why do we resort to it? It’s a reflection of our natural tendency to seek shortcuts and avoid effort. At the core, we all want to win — and we often look for the easiest way to do it.

Now, consider this scenario: if you stumbled upon a glitch that gave you a million coins with a single press of a button, would you use it to get your dream player? Many would give in to that temptation, even knowing it’s not the right thing to do.

When deciding whether to cheat, most people focus on self-interest rather than fairness. The key question becomes: “Will this help me?” instead of “Is this fair to others?” This way of thinking keeps the issue alive. Given total impunity, nearly everyone would be tempted to cheat.

Let’s address the crux of the matter: cheating is unquestionably wrong. It undermines fair play and spoils the experience for others. Even in single-player modes, cheating gives an unfair advantage over those who follow the rules. Ultimately, it damages the very game we all care about.

Cheats in Football Club 26

In FC 26, the original game developers haven’t implemented any cheat codes. Therefore, if you wish to cheat your opponents, you’ll need to resort to third-party software or employ certain tricks.

Here are some of the most common FC 26 cheats:

  • Third-Party Software;
  • Bots;
  • Buying Coins;
  • Advantage Settings;
  • Edit Players;
  • Gameplay Customisation;
  • Manual Assist.

Third-Party Software

PC is the platform most vulnerable to FC 26 cheats. There are various programs specifically designed to manipulate the game. The most well-known are the Trainer and Cheat Engine. These tools can alter scores, game clocks, stamina, player ratings, and even budgets.

The real issue is that Electronic Arts has yet to take effective action against these tools, and the game is overrun with cheaters—even in single online matches. Each year, new versions become more advanced, consistently staying one step ahead of EA’s anti-cheat systems.

Bots

Bots are software programs designed to continuously send requests to EA servers, keeping track of updates and automating various processes. The user specifies the price they’re willing to pay for specific cards, and when those cards appear on the transfer market, the program executes the purchase on their behalf.

Most of these programs also handle automatic sales. The key distinction between an AutoBuyer and an AutoBidder is that the former purchases items using the ‘Buy it Now’ option, while the latter places bids on items. Some advanced bots can operate autonomously, performing transactions without any manual input from the player. However, engaging in such activities carries a significant risk of being banned by Electronic Arts.

Buying Coins

Let’s be clear: buying coins is a direct violation of the game’s Terms of Service. It’s strictly prohibited. By purchasing coins, you’re also contributing to making Football Club even more of a pay-to-win experience.

Several online stores offer Ultimate Team coins, specific players, and even full accounts. If your goal is to build a strong squad, these options are often much cheaper than buying FC Points.

To avoid detection by EA, these stores use a variety of methods. The most common include:

  • Player Auction
    You list one of your players at the maximum price range, and they buy it;
  • Comfort Trade
    You share your account details, and they handle the entire process;
  • Mule Account
    A third-party account is used to transfer coins to yours;
  • FC Auction House
    You put a low-value player on the market, and the seller purchases it at an inflated price.

Advantage Settings

In the Kick-Off mode, when a player is much better, he usually selects a weaker team, so the match gets more balanced. However, there is a better way to do it. There is a feature that lets you set different handicaps for each team.

If you find a way to access the advantage settings without your opponent seeing (R3 on the team selection screen), you will be able to change the CPU AI teammates’ difficulties, affecting how they play with and without the ball.

You can also set a starting score from the Advantage Settings screen, but we do not recommend it. Almost sure your opponent will notice it, and you will have no other option but to tell the truth.

Edit Players

This one can be used in Career Mode, Tournaments, and Kick-Off, where we think it makes more sense. If you have a favorite team, there is a hidden menu that allows you to change your players’ stats. Even the worst players in the game can become superstars.

If you know which teams your opponents use most, you can edit those players to make them worse. Remember not to switch the teams, or your trick will turn against you.

How to Edit Attributes
  1. From the FC main screen, navigate to [Customise];
  2. Go to [Create Player] and move the Right Stick to select [Edit Real Player];
  3. Choose a player and select [Athletic] and [Attributes].

Gameplay Customisations

If you’re looking to impress your friends while playing against the CPU, there’s a simple way to gain the upper hand. On the Gameplay Customization screen, certain attributes like pace, passing, and goalkeeping are set to 50% by default, representing half of their maximum potential.

You can tweak these values to any percentage for both your team and the CPU. To avoid suspicion, try setting your team’s attributes to 70% and the CPU’s to 30%—this subtle change gives you a clear advantage. Key attributes like goalkeeping ability, shot speed, shot accuracy, and pace can dramatically affect gameplay when adjusted.

How to Edit Gameplay Customizations
  1. From the FC main screen, go to [Customise];
  2. Select [Settings], then [Game Settings];
  3. Press R2/RB to access the [User Gameplay Customisation] and [CPU Gameplay Customisation] tabs.

Manual Assist

Your opponent will easily catch you if you change his control buttons, but he won’t notice if you mix his controller settings.

Things like shooting, through balls, and lobbed passes are marked as ‘Assisted’ by default. This means that while you have some control over them, the game will help guide your shots to where you seem to be aiming. Top players turn these off to have total control, but if your opponent is not one of the best, you need to turn their controller’s assistance off.

How to Turn Off Assistance
  1. From the FC main screen, navigate to [Settings];
  2. Select [Customise Controls];
  3. Change everything which is set to [Assisted] into [Manual];
  4. Save and make sure your opponent plays with that controller/configuration every time.

The world of FC 26 cheats is fraught with danger. Beyond the risk of being banned, you may also fall prey to scams. The fundamental rule is to never share your account information with anyone. To protect yourself, follow these five essential safety tips:
  • Ensure the page URL always begins with https://www.ea.com;
  • Make sure the link doesn’t redirect you to a different site;
  • Avoid clicking email links asking for access data or claiming your account is at risk;
  • Never share your details with anyone, not even EA Sports;
  • Steer clear of searching for card duplicators, coin generators, or other dubious methods to gain coins, as they don’t exist.
Despite these warnings, some still chase the illusion of quick riches. It’s important to recognize that those with large coin balances often earned them through legitimate means—such as exceptional gameplay, smart trading, heavy investment in FC Points, or unfortunately, by deceiving others with fake cheats.

To lend authenticity to their scams, fraudsters use various tactics: creating fake social media pages with bogus reviews and giveaways, uploading YouTube videos asking for login details, mimicking EA’s website, sharing fake FUT team links, and impersonating EA staff.

Now, let’s highlight two of the most common fraudulent cheats:
  • Card Duplicators
    These promise to duplicate your cards when selected. Scammers typically ask for your account details after you pick the cards, then steal your information.
  • Coin Generators
    This scam is simple. They ask for the amount of coins you want and your account credentials for the transfer. As expected, you’ll be scammed. Some even charge a fee for this so-called ‘service,’ making sure they profit twice.
These are the primary measures Electronic Arts has implemented to combat cheaters:

  • Penalties
    EA has instituted a penalty system that encompasses various actions, including removal from Champions leaderboards resulting in forfeiture of rewards, wiping coins, club deletion, temporary or permanent Transfer Market lockouts, game bans from current FC titles, all FC titles, or even all EA games.

  • Trade Offer Button
    Several years ago, EA removed the trade offer feature, which allowed direct item trading among friends, as part of their anti-cheating efforts.

  • Untradeable Items
    To prevent players from transferring items from multiple clubs to their main account, EA rendered certain cards untradeable, including starter pack items, daily gifts, and other promotional items.

  • Stronger Authentication
    EA introduced a two-factor authentication system to enhance account security. This feature generates a numeric passcode valid for a short period, required for logging into accounts from untrusted devices or every 90 days.

  • Blocking System
    EA implemented a system to detect bot access to their servers, resulting in the suspension of thousands of accounts exhibiting suspicious activity. Unfortunately, this action affects many legitimate players, particularly active traders who adhere to the rules. While some manage to reclaim their accounts, others must resort to creating new accounts and refrain from engaging in market activities to avoid further bans.

  • EAAC
    EAAC is a lightweight kernel-mode anti-cheat and anti-tamper solution developed by EA to safeguard against the injection of external files and software into FC 26. It functions by interacting with the game to maintain integrity and fair play.
Yes, an EA AntiCheat system was introduced in FIFA 23. It is a lightweight kernel-mode anti-cheat and anti-tamper solution developed by EA and assessed by independent security experts unaffiliated with EA.

In essence, EAAC activates when you launch Football Club 25 and automatically shuts down when the game is closed. It actively monitors and prevents third-party applications from interacting with FC 26, effectively blocking attempts to inject external files or software into the game. As a result, cheats and other software modifications, including community mods, may not work as expected.

Unfortunately, kernel-level cheating in PC gaming has become more widespread, posing challenges for traditional anti-cheat solutions. These cheats operate at a level that is usually undetectable by non-kernel level anti-cheat measures. Protecting single-player modes is critical for securing online modes, as cheat developers often exploit single-player files to create their cheats.

FC 26 can be played offline on PC with EAAC installed. However, modes like Ultimate Team, which require an online connection, remain online-only experiences.
