What is the discard price in Ultimate Team?

It’s a selling option that lets you instantly exchange your items for coins by selling them to the system. Once you quick sell an item, it is permanently discarded and removed from your Ultimate Team club. Untradeable items have a discard price of 0 coins.

Is quick sell and discard the same?

Yes. Quick Sell Price is also known as Discard Price. There isn’t any difference between them.

Is quick sell and price range the same?

No. The Price Range defines the minimum and maximum values for buying or selling a card on the transfer market. The Quick Sell Price, on the other hand, is a fixed amount of coins you receive when you choose to permanently discard a card. To maintain market balance, the lowest value in a card’s price range is always set above its quick sell value. Otherwise, players might prefer discarding lower-value cards instead of listing them, which would reduce the activity and appeal of the transfer market.

How do I quick sell an item in Ultimate Team?

It’s easy. Go to your Club or your [Active Squad], select the item and look at ‘Quick Sell’ in his/her actions.

Can I discard more than one item at once?

Yes. When opening a pack, you have the option to discard each item or all at once.

Do I need to pay the EA tax when I discard?

No. The values you see in-game and in this page are the ones you will get when you discard a card. Tax is already included.

Are quick sell prices the same every year?

No. There are a few slight changes.

Why do I own an item which discard prize is zero?

Make sure the item isn’t untradeable. If it is, you won’t be able to sell it or receive coins through quick sell.
