Squad Suggestions
Building a team in FC 25 Ultimate Team can be challenging. While having the best team isn’t always feasible due to budget constraints, it’s vital to create a team that fits your style and needs.
When selecting players, carefully consider their attributes. A common mistake is choosing a team solely based on ratings. We’ll guide you through the best players for each position, focusing on their key attributes.
It’s also crucial to ensure that the players you select fit your preferred formations. For instance, having a skilled full-back won’t be beneficial if your formation only includes three defenders.
Maximizing chemistry is equally important. Many players build squads based on a single league or nation, but experienced players can create hybrid teams without sacrificing chemistry.
To cater to different player preferences and budgets, we recommend two squads with varying formations and budgets. Keep in mind that these formations are not necessarily the best for the LaLiga but are general formations used across our squad guides.
Disclaimer Notes
This guide reflects our perception of the game, which may differ from yours. It is intended to serve as a general orientation rather than a definitive solution, as it’s impossible to create a team that fits everyone’s preferences. Various factors that influence choices, such as budget, formation, roles, playstyles, and individual player preferences, are unique to each player.
Here are the criteria we used in this guide:
- Only Gold Players: We have not considered silver and bronze players, as most of them cannot match the quality of gold players.
- Only Regular Players: This guide excludes In-Form (IF) and special items, including Icons and Heroes, which are often more expensive and may not offer good value for players with limited budgets.
- Only Normal Players: Upgraded or transferred items are not considered. We have only included players who started the season in the Premier League with their original attributes.
Unlimited Budget Squad
In this unlimited budget 4-1-2-1-2 formation for Football Club 25, the team combines power, speed, and technical excellence, ideal for a competitive LaLiga squad. Starting with Thibaut Courtois in goal, the Belgian keeper is an obvious choice for his remarkable shot-stopping ability, reflexes, and positioning. Courtois’ towering presence and command of the area make him one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the game, ensuring top-level defense against even the most potent attacking threats.
The defense is built around a formidable pairing of Antonio Rüdiger and Ronald Araújo at center-back. Rüdiger brings strength, aggression, and physicality to the backline, making him an intimidating presence both on the ground and in the air. Araújo complements him with his speed, defensive intelligence, and aerial dominance, creating a perfect balance between physicality and agility. Ferland Mendy at left-back offers dynamic support, combining defensive solidity with the ability to surge forward and contribute to attacks. On the right, Jules Koundé provides excellent versatility, pace, and defensive awareness, making him effective both in defensive duties and in supporting offensive transitions.
In midfield, Aurélien Tchouaméni sits in the defensive midfield role, acting as the anchor that shields the defense and breaks up opposition play. His physicality, tackling, and intelligence make him the ideal player to provide balance and control in midfield. Ahead of him, the dynamic duo of Nico Williams and Vini Jr. on the flanks adds incredible speed, dribbling, and creativity. Nico Williams, with his explosive pace and direct approach, is a constant threat on the right, capable of stretching defenses and creating space for others. On the left, Vini Jr. brings flair and creativity, using his dribbling skills and acceleration to beat defenders and create goal-scoring opportunities.
At the heart of the midfield, Jude Bellingham takes the central attacking midfield position, acting as the link between midfield and attack. Bellingham’s combination of technical ability, and vision makes him the perfect playmaker in this formation. His intelligence allows him to exploit spaces, while his passing and dribbling ensure that the team maintains fluidity in attack. Bellingham can also contribute with goals from midfield, making him a vital attacking presence.
Up front, the attacking partnership of Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann is truly world-class. Mbappé’s sheer speed, clinical finishing, and ability to run in behind defenses make him an unstoppable force in attack. His versatility also allows him to drop deep or drift wide, adding unpredictability to the team’s offensive play. Alongside him, Griezmann provides creativity, vision, and finishing ability. His link-up play, combined with his ability to score from various positions, makes him the perfect complement to Mbappé. Together, this strike duo guarantees a potent and dynamic attack that will be difficult for any defense to contain.
Low Budget Squad
In this LaLiga 4-3-3 squad for Football Club 25, with a budget limited to 100,000 coins, a balance of defensive solidity and creative attacking options has been carefully selected. Starting in goal, Jan Oblak is the obvious choice due to his elite shot-stopping ability and consistency. Oblak is known for his reflexes and command of the box, making him one of the best goalkeepers in the game, ensuring that the defense remains solid under pressure.
At the heart of the defense, José Giménez and Andreas Christensen form a balanced central defensive partnership. Giménez brings physicality, aerial dominance, and aggression, making him excellent at dealing with set-pieces and strong forwards. Christensen complements him with his calm composure, ball-playing ability, and intelligent positioning. Together, they form a solid duo capable of handling both physical and technical challenges from opposition attacks. Dani Carvajal at right-back offers a great mix of defensive awareness and attacking support down the flank, while David Alaba on the left brings versatility, strong defensive skills, and the ability to contribute in possession with his accurate passing and crossing.
In midfield, Pedri acts as the creative playmaker, dictating the tempo of the game with his excellent ball control, vision, and dribbling skills. Pedri’s ability to link up play between midfield and attack is essential for maintaining possession and creating chances. He is supported by Marcos Llorente, who is a perfect box-to-box midfielder, offering both defensive cover with his stamina and pace, while also providing forward runs and a threat in attack. Rodrigo De Paul plays a more balanced midfield role, combining strong defensive work rate with playmaking abilities, ensuring that the midfield has both creativity and defensive stability.
In attack, Viktor Tsygankov is chosen for the right-wing position due to his pace, dribbling, and ability to cut inside onto his stronger left foot. He provides the team with a direct attacking option, always looking to break through defensive lines or create shooting opportunities. On the left-wing, Darwin Machís offers a similar style with his speed and dribbling ability, perfect for running at defenders and delivering dangerous balls into the box. Both wingers add width and creativity, stretching the opposition defense and creating space for the striker.
At the top of the attack, Robert Lewandowski is the natural leader of the frontline. His lethal finishing, positioning, and ability to hold up play make him an invaluable asset for any team. Lewandowski is not only capable of scoring from various situations, but his playmaking ability also allows him to bring the wingers and midfielders into play. His all-around skill set as a forward ensures that the team has a focal point capable of both scoring and creating goals, making him the ideal striker for this 4-3-3 formation.
