Once the winner is officially announced, EA promptly releases a Squad Building Challenge tailored to that player. By completing the challenge(s), players earn a tradable special Player of the Month (POTM) version, featuring boosted stats and dynamic artwork to enhance the gameplay experience.
The first player of the month item was assigned to the award winner of September 2024, in FC 25.
Each season, Electronic Arts releases seven to eight Player of the month items from Liga F.
