Rivals is an online game mode that refreshes every Thursday.
When to play Rivals?
By playing Rivals matches, you can improve your weekly rewards, earn promotion to higher divisions, and work toward qualifying for the Champions Finals.
Rivals is a continuously available online seasonal competition in Ultimate Team, open from launch and playable seven days a week. The competition cycle refreshes every Thursday at 7:55 AM, when you can claim your rewards from the previous campaign.
How to Access Rivals
- From the Ultimate Team main screen, press R1/RB twice to go to the [Play] tab;
- Enter [Play Modes] and press R1/RB again to go to [Competitive];
- Select [Rivals].
