FC 27 Walkout Players

Do you know that exciting moment when you open a pack and a player appears with a special animation? That is what we call a Walkout Player.

In FC 27, pack openings are a highlight, and EA keeps improving this experience. Walkouts were first introduced in FIFA 17 to make unveiling top-tier players more thrilling. They are not a quality category, but they help distinguish elite players from the rest.

The excitement of getting a high-profile player is heightened by their unique walkout animation. Over time, these animations have evolved, featuring more celebratory effects and personalized movements.

If a player is among the best in their position, their flag, league, and club (in that order) are displayed, giving you a hint of their identity before the full reveal.

By definition, a walkout player is rated 86 or higher, though exceptions exist. Some TOTW or Special players rated 84 or higher can also sprint onto the screen and perform an animation.

Pack Animation

The best moment of opening FC 27 packs in Ultimate Team is getting a top-rated player and watching him literally walking out on to the field.

In previous titles, certain elements of the animation preceding a player’s entrance on stage determined the player’s quality. Those with higher ratings or special cards were accompanied by a grander display of confetti, flames, and lights.

In FC 27, it’s very easy to tell whether the card you’re opening will be a walkout or not. Unlike previous editions, you just need to look at the first second of the animation and check whether the tunnel background or the first flag showing the position appears. If it’s the tunnel, then it’s a walkout.

How to Identify a Walkout Player in FC 27

Two Walkout Players,’ or ‘Double Walkout,’ refers to a special animation that occurs when a pack contains two high-rated players, showcasing both on stage together. These cases can also be identified in advance when opening the card. If the club’s flags remains static, it means it’s a Double Walkout.
