FC 26 MATCH COINS
Several factors either boost or penalize the coins you receive at the end of each game.
FC 26 Match Coins Awarded
At the end of each game, various statistical elements are considered to determine the number of coins a player receives. Understanding the factors that either increase or reduce your rewards is essential for making informed decisions during matches and maximizing your coin earnings.
Match Coins Awarded (MCA) refer to the coins earned for participating in an Ultimate Team match. The total is based on several elements, including match duration, in-game performance, match type, active bonuses, and overall competition performance. These are combined using the following formula:
Match Coins = (Skill Rewards × DNF Multiplier) + Completion Award + Competition Reward + Coin Boost
Let’s break down each of these components individually.
Skill Rewards
Skill Rewards include both performance-based bonuses and penalties. Positive in-game actions are rewarded with FC 26 coins, while negative actions lead to coin deductions.
How It’s Calculated: Skill Rewards are calculated by adding bonuses for actions such as goals scored, shots on target, successful tackles, corners, clean sheets, pass accuracy, possession, and being named Man of the Match. Penalties are subtracted for goals conceded, fouls committed, cards received, and offsides.
The following table outlines the number of coins awarded or deducted for each performance metric:
Performance | Pts/Unit | Max Units | Max Limit
Scored Goals | +40 | 5 | +200 | |
Shots on Target | +5 | 10 | +50
Tackles | +1 | 20 | +20 | |
Corners | +5 | 10 | +50 | |
Clean Sheets | +75 | 1 | +75 | |
Pass Accuracy % | +1 | 80 | +80
Possession % | +1 | 60 | +60 | |
MOTM | +15 | 1 | +15 | |
Goals Conceded | -20 | 4 | -80
Fouls | -5 | 4 | -20 | |
Cards | -10 | 8 | -80 | |
Offsides | -1 | 15 | -15 |
DNF Multiplier
The DNF Multiplier is a coefficient that reflects both the frequency of incomplete matches (Did Not Finish) and the difficulty or importance of different game modes and opponents.
How it’s Calculated:
The initial DNF Multiplier is determined by the game mode and can range from the following values: 0.25, 0.36, 0.42, 0.50, 0.60, 0.63, 0.88, 0.93, 1.00, and 1.13. For each incomplete match, the DNF Multiplier decreases by 0.25 x A, where A varies depending on the game mode. Conversely, for each complete match, the DNF Multiplier increases by 0.02 x A, where A varies depending on the game mode.
Maximum Limit:
The maximum limit of the DNF Multiplier is determined by the game mode:
Rivals: ranges from 0.50 to 1.19
Online Single Match: ranges from 0.50 to 1.13
Completion Award
To earn the maximum possible reward of 325 coins, you must complete the match. Leaving the match early results in a reduced reward, calculated based on the time played. In a DNF (Did Not Finish) scenario, only the side that did not trigger the disconnection receives completion coins, and the amount is based on the number of minutes played.
How it’s Calculated:
Completion Award = 325 * Minutes Played / 90
Coin Boost
Coin Boost items grant additional coins for each match played while they’re active. They can be unlocked through Season Objectives and typically add between 500 and 1,000 coins per match, depending on the season. Once activated, the boost applies to every match you complete during its duration.
Competition Reward
Prizes are assigned based on performance in TOTW Challenges, Squad Battles, Draft, Rivals, and Champions.
Maximum Limits
TOTW Challenges: 1,000 coins (Ultimate)
FUT Rivals: 80,000 coins
FUT Draft: 45,000 coins
Squad Battles: 100,000 coins
