FC 27 FOUNDATIONS SBC
Foundation SBCs are available from launch. They are designed to teach beginners how to complete Squad Building Challenges.
Foundation SBCs
Foundation SBCs, previously known as Basic Challenges, introduce players to Squad Building Challenges and their submission requirements. They also include repeatable SBCs that let you exchange eligible players for packs.
The Getting Started SBC begins with a simple submission and gradually introduces more specific requirements, including player quality and nationality.
Since all these challenges involve squad management, Foundation SBCs can be completed on the Web App, the Companion App, or directly on your console or PC.
How to Access the Foundation SBCs
- From the Ultimate Team main menu, use R1/RB to navigate to [SBC];
- Use R1/RB again to select [Foundations];
- Browse the available SBCs and select the one you want to complete.

FC 27 Foundation SBCs are challenges specifically designed to educate players on how to engage with SBCs.
Foundation SBCs do not expire or refresh. Getting Started can only be completed once, while SBCs marked as repeatable can be completed multiple times.
You should complete Getting Started early, as its requirements are simple and its rewards can help you begin building your club. The repeatable Re-Roll SBCs should only be completed when you have eligible players you do not need and consider the offered pack worthwhile.
