In this new episode “The Owner of the World”, the author teaches you how to make coins out of players from all around the world.
The Owner of the World
Getting coins on Ultimate Team is pretty easy. You just have to buy like 10 Messis and wait for his price to rise, then you list them and have fun. That easy, right?! Well, at least if you have enough coins to buy 10 Messis, because if not life’s gonna be tough. Although we’ve been showing you guys several trading techniques, there are still a lot of people saying they didn’t manage to do much, and I know most of them still owe some persistence because some of the best and most reliable techniques require quite a good amount of work. But you know, since I get extra for each new technique I bring here, let’s go for another one. Today’s technique will be called… The Owner of the World!
Okay, the name might not be that good, but it’s kind of a subliminal merchandising on the soap opera “O Dono do Mundo” that’s airing here in Brazil. Yeah, I’m not earning anything for that, but who knows? I’ll give it a shout just in case, sponsor me! Anyway, without further ado let’s get to it.
You should’ve noticed that sometimes those cheeky tournaments appear for us to participate, they can be played both offline and online. By the way, right now there’s a tournament going on that requires Nigerian and Turkish players only. Well, every time these tournaments happen the players go after the requirements on the market in order to play and win at least the offline trophy. If you knew in advance what would be the requirements for the next tournaments, things would look good for you, but by the time you get to know about them thousands of other people are going after the same opportunity. Then you realise it’s too late.
“So what should I do, Mr. Silvio? Tell us! Don’t hide anything!”
Of course I’ll tell. Here’s the deal, after analyzing that what happened back on FIFA 13 did as well on 14, naturally we came to the conclusion that the same should happen on FIFA 15. Basically we’ll have tournaments of all leagues. Some of them will have a specific date, like the one with the requirement of Irish players only on St. Patrick’s day, which will be on March 17th. However, when should you buy these players? A few days earlier? Wrong! Now? Wrong again! What you have to do is analyze the players of this group, what players people will buy more. Mcgeady? Absolutely! Keane? No doubt. Build you preferred team with a squad builder or even the concept squad mode to see which will be the key players. There might be only one good right back out there, and if that happens he’ll be the target. By the way, that’s exactly what happens in the Russian league, there’s only one gold left back so he is pretty valuable, wait and see what will happen when it’s the Russian league’s turn. Going back to our Irish squad. You identify the “target” players and start to monitor their price. For example, using Futbin I can already tell Mcgeady is going for 900 coins and he’s gone for around 1200 before. When it’s tournament time he’ll easily reach 2000 to 2500. When his price is at the ground make sure you buy. Depending on the player you can buy a few or just one. In this specific case, I did some research and managed him going for just 900 coins with 9 contracts and even the Deadeye chemistry style!
This one was bought by me just now, and you might think it’s still too early to buy players that will only be worth something on March, but his price will easily triplicate. Besides, you can keep one of each in your club without a problem. You don’t need to buy with so much antecedence, but if you find one of these, with chemistry, this price, just buy him and you’ll get at least 50% of profit in a few days if you don’t feel like waiting so much.
This is a technique that requires you having some extra change so you can do the correct storage, it’s quite more adequate for people who have at least around 100k coins. I try and build a complete team of every league, but I do it one by one throughout the days (or months) so I can take advantage of when the players are at their lowest prices. If you have coins to invest, build teams of all leagues. Naturally you don’t have to in fact build the squad, since you won’t use them to play (except if you wish to). Besides, there’s a limit on how many squads you can have (which can be increased with EASFC items, but that’s not the case really). Just build teams of all the leagues or nationalities you think are interesting (you can see on the link below this article suggestions on that). This must be why I’m calling this technique the owner of the world, after all you’ll have players from all around the world in not such a long time, right?
I don’t recommend this for strong leagues such as the BPL, BBVA and others, because everyone already has these players. On the other hand, how many people you know have Irish squads? Exactly, so when the tournament appears everyone will be desperate for those players. Weaker leagues have much higher demand at these moments, their price variation is just absurd.
This means that you won’t need to buy expensive players, but probably you’re still concerned about the coins you’ll have to spend in order to get all these players stored. Don’t be. It’s not really like that, more than 90% of the players cost around 1k or less.
On the link below you can check out all the tournaments that happened back on FIFA 14 and that might put you ahead this time. Some of them (such as St. Patrick’s) should occur on the same date, others are there to give you an idea of what kinds of tournaments we’ll have.
In this one you can see those that have already been on FIFA 15 and that will eventually be released by date.
Now it’s time to start building your concept squads, analyze who you should buy and wait for the best moment to do so. When the tournament finally appears it’ll be the time to earn good amounts of coins without much work. Just don’t forget about buying only one player each, because this allows you to store them all in your club before the time comes and you don’t have to worry about having your transfer list full. Except, of course, if you find a very interesting deal that will make you go buying like crazy just like my wife when she enters the shoe store.
That’s it for now, guys. Good trading and until next saturday!
See yoooou later!
