DETAILS

Showdown cards are special items with boosted ratings and stats, usually released through SBCs (SBC). Each Showdown highlights two players who will face each other in an upcoming real-world football match.

Here’s how Showdown items work:

One player from each side of an upcoming match is selected and released via individual SBCs at least 24 hours before the game;
You can complete one or both SBCs;
After the SBC expires, the match is played;
In the days following, the items receive upgrades based on the match result.

This FC 27 Showdown Tracker shows the upgrades based on results:

+2 for the winning team;
+1 for both teams in case of a draw;
No upgrade for the losing team.

Upgrades can vary depending on the game’s power curve. For example, in Season 1, a winning player may only receive +1 OVR.

For knockout matches that must produce a winner, the Item representing the team that advances receives the maximum upgrade, while the opposing Item receives no upgrade, unless the specific Showdown rules state otherwise.
