Rivals is an online game mode that refreshes every Thursday.

When to play Rivals?

Playing Rivals matches allows you to improve your Weekly Rewards, progress through the Divisions and earn qualification progress for eligible competitive modes.

Rivals is an online seasonal competition in Ultimate Team, available continuously from launch and playable seven days a week. The competition cycle refreshes every Thursday at 7:55 AM, at which point you can claim your rewards from the previous weekly competition.

How to Access Rivals

From the Ultimate Team main screen, press R1/RB twice to go to the [Play] tab;
Enter [Play Modes] and press R1/RB again to go to [Competitive];
Select [Rivals].

Calendar

The dates below are based on the expected weekly Rivals schedule. Weekly reset dates can be projected because Rivals refreshes every Thursday, but Season boundaries and special schedule changes remain subject to confirmation by Electronic Arts.
