Player of the Month

POTM items are special upgraded Ultimate Team items created for players selected as Player of the Month in six supported competitions: Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and Liga F.

Each competition follows its own nomination and selection process. Depending on the league, the public vote may be combined with votes from experts, clubs or other representatives.

The corresponding POTM item is normally released through a dedicated Squad Building Challenge. It is untradeable, cannot be found in Packs or purchased from the Transfer Market, and remains available only for the period shown on its SBC timer.

POTM items are not dynamic. Their ratings and attributes are fixed when released and do not receive additional upgrades based on future performances.

Q: What is a POTM item?
A: FC 27 POTM items are special upgraded cards released each month for every major league, celebrating the most in-form players.

Q: How can I get a Player of the Month item?
A: The only way to obtain an FC 27 POTM item is by completing its dedicated Squad Building Challenge (SBC), available for around 30 days. These cards are untradeable and cannot be purchased on the transfer market.

Q: Can POTM items receive further upgrades?
