Match Coins Guide for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team
Every year, EA makes a few changes to the game. The match coins you get every time you play is no exception. Even if you think you already know how it works, you should read our explanation. It will help you to make better decisions and improve the amount of coins you earn.
Match Coins Awarded (MCA) are the coins you get every time you play a Ultimate Team match.
They depend of how much time you played, how well have you played, the match category, the active EAS FC bonus and the competition performance:
MCA = (Skill Rewards x DNF Multiplier) + Completion Award + EAS FC Coin Boost + Competition Reward
As you can see in ‘summary’, to calculate the match coins awarded you need to know the Skill Rewards, the DNF Multiplier, the EAS FC Coins Boost, the Competition Reward and the Completion Award.
Skill Rewards

- How is Calculated
It is the sum of bonuses performance and penalties performance.
It is the sum of the bonuses by scored goals, shots on target, successful tackles, corners, clean sheets, pass accuracy, possession and man of the match and the sum of the penalties by against goals, fouls, cards and off sides according to the following table:

DNF Multiplier

Coefficient that measures the number of unfinished matches (Did Not Finish), as well as the importance and difficulty of the different game modes and opponents.
Initial DNF Multiplier depends of the game mode. It is 0.63 for on line seasons.
The DNF Multiplier drops 0.25 x A per each incomplete match (A depends of the game mode).
The DNF Multiplier rises 0.02 x A per each complete match (A depends of the game mode).
It depends of the game mode:
0.63 On line Seasons
0.88 On line Tournaments
1.13 On line Single Match
0.36 Single Player Seasons
0.25 Single Player Tournaments

Completion Award

To earn the maximum possible, the 325 coins, you need to play the match until the end.
If you drop it earlier, you will get only a portion of coins according to the time played.
Completion Award = 325 * Minutes Played / 90

The EAS FC Catalogue item allows you to receive some additional FUT Coins for each match you play and the item is active. You can learn more about it clicking here.

New Stuff
For experienced Ultimate Team gamers, most of what we have published here isn’t new. In that way, we have created this short chapter to show you what has changed with match coins rewards:
FUT 14 >> FUT 15
- 5 coins for each foul instead of 1 coins as it was in FUT 14;
50 coins limit for shots on target instead of 75 coins limit as it was in FUT 14;
DNF and Multiplier are shown in FUT 15 as a single coefficient;
several other changes on the DNF / Multiplier coefficient.
FUT 13 >> FUT 14
- 10 coins for each card instead of 5 coins as it was in FUT 13;
75 coins for clean sheet instead of 35 coins it was in FUT 13;
20 coins for each conceded goal instead of 15 coins it was in FUT 13;
15 coins for man of the match instead of 10 coins it was in FUT 13;
several changes on the multiplier coefficient.
