Everyone wants to know which players will be improved in FIFA 16. Here it is our FIFA 16 Winter Upgrades players shortlist.
FIFA 16 Winter Upgrades Introduction
Unlike what happens in another game modes, the players in FIFA 16 Ultimate Team aren’t automatically updated throughout the season according to their appearances in real life. Some may receive In Form cards, but most players remain with the characteristics they were given at the start of the season. In Ultimate Team, upgrades are made through the release of new cards in determined periods: in Summer and in Winter Upgrades seasons. This last one happens in February and rewards the players who stood out the most along the first half of the season.
The community wants to know who are the players that will be upgraded and we are here to help them. We conducted an analysis to the IF cards assigned to each player compared to the H2H rating improvements. We also combined these conclusions to the stats of several leagues in the current season to create a players shortlist with good chances to get an UP card. Remember that this is only a prediction. It doesn’t mean that these players will be upgraded. They have good chances but it is not guaranteed.

In order to keep things simple, we will analyse only gold players and the best silver players.
JAMIE VARDY

If he doesn’t get a new card, no one will get. Vardy scored for an 11th consecutive Premier League match to break former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record. He is also the BPL top scorer. Not bad for a silver player…
RIYAD MAHREZ

Vardy is not the only responsible by the amazing campaign of Leicester this season. Mahrez scored almost as many goals as his team mate but made more assists.

This has been a great season for silver players. Ighalo is a good example of that. He doesn’t need to play in one of the most important clubs to have a good performance. He is one of the best scorers in the most amazing league of the world.

Weigl made his official debut for Dortmund in August and since then he has been indispensable. He is the biggest surprise of Bundesliga this year.

He’s only 19 buy already played for PSG, Juventus and Bayern. He has been another good surprise, earning a place in the all powerful German champion.

Yes, another silver player. Alli has been one of the best Tottenham players this year. That should be enough to get a nice upgrade this Winter.

It isn’t easy to play in a club like Manchester City, one of the richest of the world. Iheanacho did it and for several times, scoring more than once.

Here it is another very young striker who will be upgraded. With so amazing performances, almost sure he will be back from loan to Roma again next season.
