Every year, EA Sports releases green cards to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day and this year it was no exception. We will try to clarify the most common questions about these cards.

A: EA releases green cards to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day.
Q: Is this the first time that these cards are released ?
A: No. In FIFA 14, the green cards were assigned to FIFA World Cup 2014 best players. However, in FIFA 15 the green cards were assigned to the best Irish players.
Q: When these cards will be released ?
A: Between March 16th (6pm UK time) to March 21st (6pm UK time).
Q: Will all the Irish players receive a green card ?
A: No. Just a selection of 23 players, like a normal TOTW.
Q: Who makes de decision of which players get a green card ?
A: EA Sports.
Q: Which players will receive St. Patrick’s Day Cards this year ?

Q: How big is the boost in the stats of these green cards ?
A: There is no boost.
Q: What is the difference between these cards and their respective NIF cards ?
A: Basically the only difference is the colour. During these five days, the player’s cards pulled from packs will be released on green instead of their normal colours. The discard price of these cards are also different.
Q: What happens to the old cards ?
A: Nothing changes.
Q: What are the discard prices of the St. Patrick’s Day Green Cards ?
A: The green cards have the same quick sell prices of the others In Form cards. You can see them here. For that reason, their price ranges are also higher.
Q: Why the England’s Jack Grealish received a green card ?
A: It was a mistake. EA revised the St. Patrick’s Day team and replaced him with Stoke City’s Jonathan Walters.
