Q: What are RTTF cards?
A: Road to the Finals, commonly abbreviated to RTTF, is a Special item category assigned to a very limited selection of players, replacing their regular cards at specific times. These cards celebrate the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League Knockout Stage and can receive upgrades.

Q: What are the ratings of RTTF items?
A: FC 24 RTTF items are released with a starter boost on rating and stats. They can be upgraded later if they meet specific conditions.

Q: How does RTTF items get upgraded?
A: In addition to an initial upgrade, players also have the potential to earn additional upgrades during the Knockout Stages of UEFA club competitions:

• Qualification
  RTTF cards are upgraded every time the team advances to the next round of their current competition or win the tournament.


• First Win (UCL only)
  RTTF Items are eligible for a one-time upgrade if the club wins or draw the first knockout stage match after campaign launch.

Q: How does ‘won first match’ work?
A: All ‘won or draw first match’ upgrades for RTTF Player Items are based on the first game their team plays after the item is released. This means that if a Player Item is released after their team’s first knockout match, their ‘won first match’ upgrade will be based on the result of their team’s next knockout match (even if it requires extra time or penalties).

Q: How long does EA take to update a RTTF item?
A: Any earned Road to the Final Player Item upgrades will occur at the end of each week (Friday night) when a given stage has concluded.

Q: Does a player need to play to earn upgrades?
A: No. Road to the Final Player Items will receive upgrades based on their club’s progress regardless of whether or not they take part in any matches.

Q: What happens if a player transfers?
A: If a player is no longer registered for the club they represent at the start of the Road to the Finals campaign they will not be eligible for additional upgrades.

Q: What happens if a player’s club is knocked out?
A: If a player’s club is knocked out of any of the tournaments they will not be eligible for the qualification upgrade. This includes players who qualify for the UEFA Europa league by finishing third in their UEFA Champions League group.

Q: What happens if a player wins and get qualified?
A: If a RTTF Player Item’s first match since their release is the second leg of the Round of 16 and their club wins resulting in qualification for the next round, they’ll receive a double upgrade, a +1 In-From Upgrade for winning/drawing and a +1 In-Form Upgrade for qualifying for the Quarter Finals.

Q: What happens if a player is already 5*?
A: If a Player Item already has 5*WF and they reach the Final, they’ll receive a +1 In-Form Upgrade instead. Similarly, if a Player Item already has 5*SM and their club wins the Final, they’ll receive an additional +1 In-Form Upgrade instead.

Q: What if a player already has one or two Playstyles+?
A: Road to the Final items will be the first in Ultimate Team with the potential to have three different PlayStyles+.

Q: How can I get one of these cards?
A: You can get a Road to the Final item in the same way as any other card: in packs or on the transfer market. If you want to try your luck on packs, you can go to the store and buy them with coins or FC Points. They can be found in any pack with players’ cards, including free packs. Finding one of these cards is higher if you open a pack containing more player cards. Completing specific SBCs and objectives may also reward you with an RTTF item.
