FC 24 Clubs features a new Clubs League format. There’s no greater satisfaction than accomplishing a shared goal – as teammates, fans, friends, and a club. It’s the essence of our passion for football and why we engage in Clubs mode. This is why, in EA Sports FC 24, you’ll constantly be pursuing glory through our innovative Clubs League format.
Every Clubs League season spans approximately 6 weeks and comprises two intensified phases:
- League Phase
- Playoff Phase
League Phase
The League Phase marks the starting point of each new season. Gather points through match victories and earn the privilege to compete for promotions, ascending from Division 5 to even higher divisions, ultimately reaching the pinnacle of the Clubs football hierarchy: the Elite Division. The higher you ascend, the greater the rewards you’ll vie for when the Playoff stage arrives.
League Matches
Starting from Division 5, clubs will no longer contend with a restricted match count to accrue the necessary points for promotion contention. In EA SPORTS FC™ 24, each earned point propels your club closer to triumph. This implies that any losses won’t diminish your club’s current point tally, and notably, relegation is eliminated – though this certainly doesn’t imply leniency. As you advance to higher divisions, you’ll encounter more formidable adversaries and a steeper points threshold for Promotion Matches.
Promotion Matches
When a club has earned the required amount of points within their division, they will proceed to the Promotion Matches. These are a do-or-die series of matches that will decide your promotion fate as you move through the Clubs League divisions. Draws won’t help you here, your club will be challenged to win a specified amount from a fixed number of total matches (win 1 of 3 matches, for example). Hit the required wins threshold and you’ll celebrate promotion, fall short, and your club will remain in its current division with a reduced points total, placing you just a few steps away from another attempt.
As you rise through the divisions, the promotion competition will intensify, providing a suitable challenge to clubs of all skill levels, and ensuring a place in the Elite Division is reserved for the best of the best. After the League Phase, all clubs are locked to their respective divisions and their focus will turn to the all-new Clubs Playoffs.
League Rewards
Whenever your club achieves promotion, you’ll be rewarded with club benefits, including fans that boost your club’s Reputation, or Club Customization items that symbolize your ascent through the ranks. In each subsequent season, a fresh collection of thematic Club Customization items will be up for grabs for your club to attain. Each collection encompasses a Kit, Tifo, and Stadium Bundle. Scale the heights of the Elite Division to attain the entire set.
Playoff Phase
The Clubs Playoffs serve as the pinnacle, the dramatic culmination of each Clubs League season. Held during the concluding week of every Clubs season, the Playoffs are the moment for the team to unite and vie for prestige and substantial rewards against the top clubs in their division. At the onset of the Playoffs, all clubs will be organized into pools according to their divisions, tasked with playing a designated number of matches to secure the highest possible ranking on the Playoff Table of their respective divisions.
Playoff matches are high stakes. Draws aren’t an option, as every match will proceed to extra time, followed by penalties to determine a winner. Goal difference could be pivotal, so competing until the end will give your club a fighting chance against the competition. After your club has completed all of their Playoff matches for the season, you can continue to play League matches during the Playoff Phase period to earn increases to your Club Reputation and Skill Rating. However, you will no longer be able to gain points toward promotion.
Playoff Rewards & Season End
Following each Clubs League season, both you and your club will reap rewards based on your Playoff performance. With the world’s attention on your club, the Clubs Playoffs offer the prime opportunity to boost your club’s Reputation – yet the true treasure lies in the Clubs League trophy. Each season introduces a distinctive trophy in gold, silver, and bronze, adorned with your league division’s emblem to commemorate your club’s Playoff achievements, proudly exhibited in your all-new Trophy Room (as well as in your stadium).
In appreciation of their contribution to the club, any player who participates in at least one Playoff Match for their club and remains on the roster until the season’s conclusion will earn VOLTA COINS for acquiring the latest gear from the VOLTA SHOP, along with Season Points to enhance their Clubs and VOLTA FOOTBALL shared seasonal progress. The amount received grows with higher divisions and improved club rankings. All Playoff Rewards will be bestowed upon you and your club when you access Clubs for the first time after a brief reward calculation period. A fresh Season commences immediately following the end of the preceding Season. At that point, clubs are reset to their initial divisions, marking the commencement of another journey to the pinnacle.
