FC 25 CLUB NAMES
The name of your club is how you are represented in the FC 25 Ultimate Team ecosystem.
Team Name
When creating your Ultimate Team in FC 25, your club’s visual identity hinges on three main elements: the name, badge, and kit. While adding personal touches like a ball, stadium, theme, tifo, or customizing your stadium can enhance your club, it’s the name that prominently represents your team to opponents.
As you embark on your new Ultimate Team journey, the system will assign a random name and prompt you to choose a new team name, a vital identifier displayed to opponents during pre-match screens.
Your chosen name can be of your liking, but it should not exceed
Following your chosen team name, you’ll select a three-letter abbreviation. This acronym is used to display match results while in-game.
Changing the UT Team Name
Changing the FC 25 club name doesn’t provide any benefit or bonus to your Ultimate Team experience. It’s a cosmetic option and, for some players, is not important. However, since Ultimate Team is a game mode focused on creating your unique club, it makes sense to choose a name that says something to you.
In previous years, you were allowed to renamed your club only once, via a specific objective, but since last year you were allowed to change it up to three times. In FC 25 you can change it as many times as you wish.
You can change the FC 25 club name at any time going to your Club Settings Menu.
How to Change Club Name in FC 25
- From the main Ultimate Team screen, use R1/RB to go to [Settings];
- Use R1/RB again to select [Rename Club];
- Press X/A;
- Type the new team name;
- Type the new abbreviation;
- Double-check the new names. Go back if it is not as you desire;
- Confirm your selection when you are happy.
