Before we point out the best packs in the game, it’s important to consider several factors. Firstly, this is a game of chance, meaning you may draw better cards from a supposedly inferior pack. What’s crucial to note is that when statistically analyzing the contents of packs across a large sample size, the trend suggests that better packs contain better cards.
Secondly, it’s worth reminding that opening packs is not the most effective strategy for building a strong team. Whenever possible, prioritize trading and gameplay. EA’s goal is not to hand you the best cards in the game, but rather to strike a balance between player dissatisfaction and their hope of improving their team, thereby keeping them as active consumers of FC Points.
How to Pick the Best Packs
Choosing the best packs is a complex task because EA constantly adds new packs, and the value of their contents varies throughout the season. A rare player item with an 85 rating has completely different values at the beginning of the game compared to when the game is nearing its end and making way for its successor.
Moreover, it may seem strange, but EA does not use a proportional relationship between the prices of packs in FC Coins and FC Points. In other words, some packs may be better choices when purchased with coins, while others might be more worthwhile if paid for with FC Points.
