FC 26 Serie A Player of the Month cards are unique items, with boosted stats, assigned to monthly winners.
Each month, EA and Lega Serie A team up to recognize the top-performing Serie A players from the previous month. The selection is based on statistical data provided by Stats Perform—a system patented in 2010 in collaboration with K-Sport—alongside tracking data collected by Hawk-Eye.
After the winner is chosen through a voting process, they receive a FC 26 Serie A Player of the Month item. These special items come with enhanced stats and can be unlocked via Squad Building Challenges (SBCs).

The FC 26 Serie A POTM nominees are typically announced on the last Thursday of the month, or occasionally on the first Thursday of the following month.
Every month, a total of six players are nominated to compete for the title of Player of the Month.

The FC 26 Serie A Player of the Month doesn’t follow a strict schedule, but it is most commonly released on the first Thursday of the month.

Once the winner is officially announced, EA releases a dedicated Squad Building Challenge for that player. Completing the challenge(s) rewards you with a tradeable special POTM version featuring boosted stats and dynamic artwork.
The first player of the month item was assigned to the award winner of September 2021, in FIFA 22.
Each season, Electronic Arts releases eight Player of the month items from Serie A.
