Item Types


In FC 26 Ultimate Team, items are virtual cards representing various elements essential for building and managing your squad.

These items are broadly categorized into two main types:
  • Player Items;
  • Club Items.
Player Items encompass all cards related to footballers. On the other hand, Club Items pertain to non-player elements that allow you to customize and personalize your club’s identity. The distinction between Player and Club Items enables players to not only enhance their team’s performance on the pitch but also express their unique style and preferences off the pitch.

Player Items


Player Items are divided into two categories: Base Player Items and Special Player Items.


Base Player Items
The most common players in Ultimate Team.

  • Standard
    Items representing football players.
  • Heroes
    Retired football greats commemorating a significant impact in memorable matches or seasons.
  • Icons
    Player Items representing the best footballers from past eras with icon-status levels of greatness.

Special Player Items
Special Player Items are upgraded versions of Base Player Items for footballers who’ve had next-level performances.

  • Team of the Week
    Weekly standout players formed in one squad.
  • Campaign Players
    Versions of Standard Player Items for specific campaigns with unique qualities and mechanics, upgraded stats, and special Player Item Shells.
  • Dynamic Campaign Players
    An extension of Campaign Players, with the added ability to get upgrades based on real-world results and performances.
  • Campaign Heroes
    Versions of Heroes Player Items for specific campaigns with upgraded stats, qualities, and special Player Item Shells.
  • Campaign Icons
    Versions of Icon Player Items released for specific campaigns with upgraded stats, and special Player Item Shells.

Club Items


Club Items are divided into eight categories: Managers, Club, Pitch, Stands, Structure, Trophies, Consumables, and Premium Consumable Items.


Manager
Manager Items represent football managers who can be added to your squad and help player performance. Managers also come with their own tactical style that you can use during games.

  • Managers
    Manager Items that provide chemistry boosts to Players’ squads based on Nationality and/or their respective Football League.

Club
Club Items are non-player Items you can customize to personalize your Club’s identity.

  • Club Anthem
    An audio feature that plays in-game during key moments to personalize the experience.
  • Badge
    A personalized logo you can apply to your club to identify yourself, represent your favorite team, or badge.
  • Ball
    Changes the appearance of the football used in all Ultimate Team modes.
  • Club Nickname
    An audio feature that lets you personalize the name used in-game by commentators in any Ultimate Team™ mode.
  • Crowd Chant
    An audio feature that lets you choose specific crowd chants to personalize in-game audio during the match.
  • Goal Sounds
    An audio feature that plays in-game when you score a goal.
  • Away Kit
    Choose the appearance of your team’s secondary uniform.
  • Home Kit
    Choose the appearance of your team’s primary uniform.
  • Player Celebration
    An animation you can use as a standard celebration when you score a goal in any Ultimate Team™ mode.

Pitch
Pitch Items let you customize the visuals and atmosphere of your team’s pitch.

  • Goal Pyrotechnics: Confetti Cannons
    Colored confetti that’s triggered when you score in any Ultimate Team mode.
  • Goal Pyrotechnics: Fireworks
    Fireworks that trigger when you score in any Ultimate Team mode.
  • Goal Pyrotechnics: Flame Cannons
    Colored flames that trigger when you score in any Ultimate Team™ mode.
  • Goal Pyrotechnics: Sparklers
    Colored sparklers that trigger when you score in any Ultimate Team mode.
  • Goal Net Color
    Changes the color of your goal net.
  • Pitch Line Color
    Changes the color of your pitch line.
  • Pitch Mow Pattern
    Changes the patterns of your pitch.

Stands
Stands Items let you customize the visuals and atmosphere of the stadium’s stands during your team’s matches.

  • Crowd
    Changes the color of the signs fans are holding.
  • Tifo
    Display specific visuals or messages throughout the stadium.
  • Background Tifo (Home end Background)
    A larger version of a Tifo Item that displays custom messages or visuals behind the goal nets.
  • Tinted Flags
    Display different colors in the main upper stands.
  • Two-Stick Banners
    Specific signs held by fans in the crowd.

Structure
Use Structure Items to customize different elements of the stadium’s atmosphere.

  • Stadium Template
    Customize your stadium.
  • Stadium Color
    Change your stadium’s colors.
  • Seat Color
    Customize the colors of your stadium’s seats.
  • Stadium Theme
    Personalizes the stadium’s aesthetics.
  • VIP Area
    Personalizes the exclusive seating section (VIP Area).

Trophies
Trophy Items let you display your Club’s achievements.

  • Pitch Trophy
    Customize your stadium.
  • Stadium Color
    Pitch Trophies are placed directly on the field so they’re visible during matches.

Consumables
Consumables are single-use Items that enhance or maintain your Players and Club, helping your team stay at its best throughout the season.

  • Healing
    Single-use items that can be used to heal injured Player Items.
  • Chemistry Styles
    Single-use items that can be used to boost specific Player Item attributes.
  • Manager Leagues
    Single-use items that can be used to change Manager Item’s leagues to help boost the Player’s Squad Chemistry.

Premium Consumables
Premium Consumables are higher-tier Consumable Items that grant special items or in-game currencies.

  • Pack Rewards
    A Pack within a Pack that’s sent to My Packs after opening and can be saved for later.
  • Player Picks
    Rewards that give players the option to choose one Player Item card from a selection of Player Items.
  • Draft Tokens
    A single-use consumable item to redeem and enter either an Offline or Online Ultimate Team Draft mode.
  • Season Points (SP) Rewards
    Gives you SP that contributes to your Seasonal Level progress.

Frequently Asked Questions
Item types refer to the different categories of cards available in Ultimate Team, including players, consumables, and club customization items. Each type serves a unique role in building and managing your squad.
Base Player Items are standard cards divided into Bronze, Silver, and Gold based on overall rating. Special Player Items are enhanced versions released during events or promotions, offering boosted stats and unique designs.

  1. Go to Club.
  2. Select Squad.
  3. Search for the Item by quality and rarity.

  • Go to the Transfer Market.
  • Select Players.
  • Search for the Item by quality and rarity.
    • To find Manager Items in your Club:
    1. Go to Club.
    2. Select Squad.
    3. Highlight the Manager Slot.
    4. Search for the Manager you’re looking for.
    To find Manager Items on the Transfer Market:
  • Go to the Transfer Market.
  • Select Staff.
  • Search for the Manager you’re looking for.
    • To find Club Items:
    1. Go to Ultimate Team.
    2. Select Stadium.
    3. Select Club, Structure, or Cosmetics depending on the Item you’re looking for.
    To find Club Items on the Transfer Market:
  • Go to the Transfer Market.
  • Select Stadium.
  • Search for the Item you’re looking for.
    • To find Pitch Items:
    1. Go to Ultimate Team.
    2. Select Stadium.
    3. Select Structure and find the Item you’re looking for.
    To find Stands Items:
    1. Go to Ultimate Team.
    2. Select Stadium.
    3. Select Stands and select which part of the stands you want to customize.
    To find Structure Items:
    1. Go to Ultimate Team.

    To find Trophies:
    1. Go to Ultimate Team.
    2. Select Stadium.
    3. Select Trophies.
    4. Select Home End Trophy or Away End Trophy.
    To find Consumables you own:
    1. Go to Club.
    2. Select Squad.
    3. Highlight an Item.
    4. Open Selection Actions.
    5. Select Apply Consumable.
    To find Consumables in the Transfer Market:
    1. Go to the Transfer Market.
    2. Select Consumables.
    3. Search for the Consumable you’re looking for.

    To find Premium Consumables:
    1. Go to Ultimate Team.
    2. Go to the Store.
    3. Select My Packs.
