FC 27 has two editions, Standard and Ultimate Edition, featuring different release dates, prices and pre-orders offers.
FC 27 Editions
Since 1993, EA Sports has launched a new FIFA title every year. It wasn’t until FIFA 18, however, that Electronic Arts began offering multiple editions of the same game, each with unique content. This approach aimed to provide players with tailored experiences, enhance engagement, and increase revenue.
FC 27 comes in two editions: Standard and Ultimate. Each edition has its own release date, pricing, and exclusive pre-order bonuses.

All these offers are exclusives for pre-orders and are delivered as soon as you play UT for the first time in your console/PC.

Ultimate Edition Offers
FC Points is the only offer that is not exclusive to pre-orders. All other offers are delivered as soon as you play Ultimate Team for the first time on your console/PC.

You don’t have to wait for the official launch to start playing FC 26. With the Ultimate Edition, you’ll get seven days early access and can enjoy the full game from midnight with no restrictions (1pm UK for PC). - FC Points
There is no better way to boost your first team than opening a few UT packs. Unfortunately, the best promo packs are only released later but the 6,000 FC Points over two months (4,500 FC Points for Nintendo Switch) are still very useful at this point of the season. - Premium Pass
The Season Pass is a reward system that grants items as you level up during a season. By pre-ordering the game, you’ll get the Season 1 Premium Pass for free, unlocking even greater rewards. - Aditional Evolution Slot
It allows you to evolve more players at the same time. This is especially useful if you want to upgrade multiple players at once

Players who pre-order the FC 26 Ultimate Edition before August 26 will receive an untradeable 93+ OVR Icon 1 out of 5 pick at launch from previous campaigns including Grassroot Greats, FUT Birthday, Dreamchasers and FUT Immortals. - FC 25 Player Evolution
Early Bird offers also give access to an exclusive Evolution item that allows you to upgrade any eligible player’s shooting attributes all the way to 99 in EA SPORTS FC 25 Ultimate Team, giving them unmatched finishing power and making them a lethal threat in front of goal. - Untradeable FC 26 Random Icon
The most interesting Early Bird offer is to be used in FC 26 from the launch: one untradeable random Debut Icon out a selection of 15 players. On November 27, it will become an upgraded version to recognise the moment they became a Champion.
Release Dates
For Football Club fans, the main advantage of the Ultimate Edition is early access. While Standard Edition players must wait until midnight on launch day, Ultimate Edition owners can begin playing a full seven days in advance.
The FC 27 trial starts eight days before the official release but is limited to only 10 hours of gameplay, which may leave many players wanting more. Opting for the Ultimate Edition provides unlimited access to the full game, ensuring the best possible head start.

FC 27 Edition Prices
If the cost were the same, the Ultimate Edition would clearly be the preferred option. It includes everything in the Standard Edition along with additional content, which explains its higher price.
FC 27 prices vary by edition and platform. Differences can also occur depending on the purchase timing, region, store, and any active promotions or discounts.

You’ll get your first batch as soon as you log into Ultimate Team, your second by the end of the next month, and the final one by the end of the following month.
