Moments
Moments is a single player game mode within Ultimate Team that challenges you to complete short gameplay scenarios. Some recreate memorable events from real football, while others are based on seasonal themes, Ultimate Team Campaigns, gameplay fundamentals or specially created situations.
Moments content is organized into Stories, Chapters and individual scenarios. Each Moment starts from a predetermined match situation and includes one or more objectives that must be completed within the available time. You may be asked to stage a comeback, score a particular type of goal, maintain possession, prevent the opposition from scoring or complete another specific gameplay challenge.
Different Reward Levels can introduce additional requirements, stronger CPU opponents, shorter time limits or squad restrictions. You can retry a failed Moment as often as necessary while it remains available, but the Stars assigned to each Reward Level can only be earned once. New Stories and limited time scenarios may be added throughout the Ultimate Team season.
Completing Moments earns Stars, a currency used exclusively within this mode. Higher Reward Levels and Chapter completion rewards can provide additional Stars, which can then be exchanged for packs, Player Items and other available rewards in the Star Gallery. The selection may change during the season, and some rewards are only available for a limited period.

- From the main Ultimate Team screen, press R1/RB until you reach the [Play] tab;
- Select [Core Modes];
- Select [Moments].
Stories are themed collections of Moments based on seasonal content, Ultimate Team Campaigns, gameplay fundamentals, current football events or memorable moments from the sport’s history. Some Stories remain available throughout the game cycle, while others expire after a limited period.
Chapters are themed sets of gameplay scenarios that highlight important moments within a broader story. Each story consists of multiple chapters. Initially, you’ll have access to at least one chapter, while others remain locked. To unlock and advance through additional chapters, you must collect a certain number of Stars from the chapters you’ve already unlocked.
An individual Moment is a short gameplay scenario within a Chapter. It starts from a predetermined match situation and includes one or more Challenges that must be completed within the available time.
Each Moment begins from a specific match situation, such as a free kick, throw in, counterattack or defensive phase. To succeed, you must complete all Challenges associated with the selected Reward Level within the available time. If any mandatory Challenge fails, you can restart the Moment and try again.
Each Moment has at least one Reward Level, while some offer up to three. Higher levels may introduce stronger CPU opponents, shorter time limits, squad requirements or additional objectives. The number of Stars available is displayed before you start the selected level.
Yes. You can restart a failed Moment and try again as often as necessary while it remains available. Completed Moments can also be replayed, but Stars already earned from a Reward Level cannot be collected a second time.
Stars are a currency earned by completing Moments, Reward Levels and eligible Chapter rewards. They are used exclusively in the Star Gallery and cannot be purchased with Coins or FC Points. Stars assigned to a Reward Level can only be earned once.
The Star Gallery is where you exchange earned Stars for available rewards, including packs, Player Items and other Ultimate Team content. Some rewards may remain available for an extended period, while others can only be redeemed before their displayed expiry time.
