After the winner is officially revealed, EA quickly releases a dedicated Squad Building Challenge for that player. Completing the challenge rewards a tradable Player of the Month item with enhanced stats and dynamic artwork, making it one of the most sought-after cards among FC fans.
The first player of the month item was assigned to the award winner of October 2018, in FIFA 19.
Each season, Electronic Arts releases seven Player of the Month items from Bundesliga.
