FC 27 Champions is an online Ultimate Team mode where top players compete for rewards. Once qualified, they have three to five days, depending on the season, to play up to 15 matches and aim for as many wins as possible.
FC 27 Challengers is an online Ultimate Team mode where players from lower Rivals divisions compete for rewards. Once qualified, they have three to five days, depending on the season, to play up to 5 matches and try to achieve as many wins as possible.
Your final placement and your determines your rewards. If you complete all your matches, rewards are available immediately. Otherwise, they’ll be granted when the campaign closes.

You can open the packs you receive as Champions rewards whenever you like, as they do not expire. There is no need to claim them before the next round begins, and they will be waiting the next time you access Ultimate Team on your console.
