FC 27 TAX

An FC 27 Tax applies to every item sold in the Ultimate Team transfer market.

Tax

In Ultimate Team, EA applies a tax equal to 5% of the sale price on all transactions in the Transfer Market. This fee is automatically deducted whenever players sell items such as player cards or consumables, no matter their value.

For instance, if you sell an item for 5,000 coins, the UT Tax deducts 5% (250 coins), leaving you with 4,750 coins. The deduction occurs automatically, so the exact tax amount does not appear during the transaction.

This tax works as a coin sink to control inflation and maintain a balanced in-game economy. It motivates players to price their items strategically and influences market trends.

Always consider the Ultimate Team Tax before listing items, since it directly affects your final profit.
