FC 27 TOTW showcases a selection of In-Form player items with enhanced stats, granted to those who delivered outstanding performances in real-world matches from the previous week.

The minimum overall rating of these special cards may fluctuate throughout the season, depending on the stage of the game cycle and player performances.

The FC 27 TOTW is released every Wednesday at 6 pm (UK time) and remains available throughout the European football season.

Team of the Week items are available in packs for precisely one week.

You can earn Team of the Week players by opening packs that include rare players or through occasional Squad Building Challenges.

A player can receive multiple TOTW items if selected for more than one Team of the Week. These cards differ in ratings and attributes, and sometimes in position, playstyles, roles and dynamic image. The most recent version always has the highest rating.

The rating boost is always applied to the player’s latest TOTW or MOTM item, regardless of club transfers or permanent upgrades. Positions may also shift if the player excelled in a different role during the past week.

TOTW items, across all OVR tiers, can receive notable increases in key stats such as Pace or Dribbling, keeping them competitive with other content released in the same timeframe.

Yes. Almost all items from domestic league matches feature dynamic art. However, if EA doesn’t hold the rights to a team, those players may not have dynamic images.

Usually, TOTW player selections are based on performances in the domestic leagues represented in the game. However, starting in FC 26, some cards can also be released to celebrate great performances in the world’s biggest domestic and continental cup competitions (excluding UEFA competitions). These CTOTW items feature a cup icon for easy identification.
