FC 27 SERIE A SQUAD

FC 27 Serie A Squad Guide

Squad Suggestions

Building a Serie A squad in FC 27 Ultimate Team involves more than simply choosing the highest rated players available. The best team is one that suits your budget, formation, style of play and the roles you need each player to perform.

Overall rating is helpful, but it does not tell the complete story. Pace, defending, passing, dribbling, physicality, PlayStyles, Skill Moves and Weak Foot can have a greater impact on the pitch depending on the position. Our recommendations therefore use the position specific scores from the Serie A player guides instead of relying only on overall ratings.

Balance across the XI is just as important. A quick full back has less value in a narrow formation that does not use wide defenders, while two slow centre backs can leave a team exposed even when both have excellent defending attributes. The selected players are chosen to complement one another and cover key strengths across the squad.

Chemistry should also be considered before making any purchase. Building within one league is the simplest way to create a full chemistry squad, although carefully planned hybrids can offer more flexibility when a player represents a clear upgrade.

This guide includes two Serie A squads for different budgets and formations: an unlimited budget 4-1-2-1-2 and a low budget 4-3-3. They are practical starting points that can be adapted to your preferred tactics, available players and Transfer Market prices.

Methodology and Notes

These squad suggestions represent our assessment of the available regular Gold players. They are not intended to be the only correct solution, as the ideal team will always depend on your budget, formation, tactical approach, preferred roles and individual playing style.

The following criteria were applied throughout this guide:

  • Only Gold Player Items:
Silver and Bronze players were excluded. The objective is to identify the strongest options among the regular Gold player pool.

  • Only Regular Gold Items:
In Form and other special items, including Icons, Heroes and Hall of FUT players, were not considered. These cards are usually more expensive and do not provide a consistent comparison with standard Gold items.

  • Current Club and Primary Position:
Players are assessed according to their latest available regular Gold item, using their current club and primary position. This ensures that transferred players are included with the club shown on their FC 27 card.

  • Position Specific Scores:
Each player score gives greater importance to the face stats most relevant to their position. It also considers total face stats, relevant PlayStyles, Skill Moves, Weak Foot and, where appropriate, height.

  • Squad Balance:
The recommendations consider how players work together. Defensive pace, midfield coverage, width, chance creation and complementary striker profiles are all considered alongside individual quality.

This 4-1-2-1-2 Wide squad combines Serie A’s highest scoring regular Gold players while maintaining a well balanced structure. Falcone takes the goalkeeper role due to his strong reflexes and positioning, while Spence and Dimarco bring pace, energy and useful support from both full back positions.

Bremer and Bastoni provide a strong central defensive partnership. Bremer brings pace, physicality and elite defending, while Bastoni offers composure and passing from the left side of defence. Çalhanoğlu protects the back line from CDM and gives the team a high quality passing option when building attacks.

Pulisic and Rafael Leão are selected in their eligible wide midfield roles, where both offer pace, dribbling and the ability to create chances from either side. De Bruyne operates from CAM, using his passing, shooting and five star Weak Foot to connect the midfield with the forwards.

Lautaro Martínez and Kenan Yıldız complete the attack. Lautaro provides finishing and intelligent movement around the box, while Yıldız adds dribbling, pace and versatility through his alternative striker position. The substitutes give the team strong options for every area of the pitch, including Maignan, Thuram, Dybala and Malen.

ST Sebastiano Esposito89.0

This 100k 4-3-3 squad is built around affordable regular Gold players who offer strong value in their respective roles. Vanja Milinković-Savić brings height and solid goalkeeping attributes, while Wesley and Spence provide the speed needed to support attacks and recover quickly when possession is lost.

Mario Gila and Oumar Solet form a quick centre back partnership that is well suited to a more active defensive line. Both have enough pace to deal with direct attackers, while their defending and physicality make them dependable options before higher rated upgrades become available.

Khéphren Thuram anchors the midfield with his physical presence and defensive attributes. Mkhitaryan and Loftus-Cheek offer different strengths ahead of him, with the former bringing passing and a five star Weak Foot, and the latter adding ball carrying, strength and useful all round attributes.

Kühn and Raspadori provide speed and dribbling from the wings, creating room for Malen to attack central spaces. Malen is one of the squad’s key value choices, combining pace, shooting and dribbling at striker. The bench adds practical cover across every line, with players such as McKennie, Assane Diao and Sebastiano Esposito offering flexible attacking alternatives.
