FC 28 Release Date

EA Sports FC 28 is expected to be released worldwide on Friday, September 24, 2027. If EA follows the same release model as in previous years, players who purchase an eligible Ultimate Edition may be able to start playing up to seven days earlier, while EA Play members may receive a limited-time trial before the worldwide launch.

The FC 28 release date has not yet been officially confirmed by Electronic Arts. Based on the series’ usual release schedule, the game is expected to be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC via the EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

Release times may vary depending on the platform and region. If the previous schedule is repeated, the console versions may unlock at midnight local time on September 24. On PC, the game may become available at 23:00 UTC on September 23, allowing some players to access it shortly before the worldwide release date.

Players who purchase the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Plus Edition may be able to access the full game from September 17, 2027, up to seven days before the worldwide launch. The availability of the Ultimate Plus Edition, including its platforms and purchase window, has not yet been confirmed.

Alternatively, EA Play members may be able to access the FC 28 trial. If EA repeats its previous schedule, the trial could provide up to 10 hours with the full game from September 17, allowing subscribers to start playing before the worldwide release and carry their progress into the purchased game.

A free FC 28 preview, potentially featuring selected content and game modes such as Kick Off, could also launch on September 24, 2027. Its release, content, platforms, and availability have not yet been confirmed.

On PC, EA Play Pro members may receive unlimited access to the full game from September 17, 2027, if EA continues its previous policy. Access would require an active membership.

FC 27 was released on September 25, 2026. EA Sports FC 28 will be the fifth instalment in the EA Sports FC series.
