Good news for Steam users. FIFA 21 is coming to this platform at launch. You will be able to play it on October 9, 2020.

FIFA 21 was introduced to the world on the EA Play event. The company shared several details about the new title including that the game would available on other PC platforms aside from Origin. In other words, you’ll also be able to pre-order and play FIFA 21 through Steam. That’s great news for Steam users who will be able to play one of the most successful games. However, not everything is good. According to EA, FIFA 21 on PC will be the same version as released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Most likely, the jump to the ‘next-gen’ level will only happen to FIFA 22.

You can pre-order FIFA 21 on Steam since June 19. As it happens in the other platforms, you can choose from 3 different editions.

FIFA 21 on Steam - Ultimate Edition
 

FIFA 21 will launch worldwide on October 9, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. If you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition you’ll be able to play from October 6. Don’t forget to check if your machine meets the minimum requirements to run this game.

More EA Games are Coming to Steam

Electronic Arts is bringing 25+ EA games to Steam in June that will also be available as part of an EA Access subscription on Steam that arrives later this summer. EA Access enhances your gaming experience with a medley of rewards and library of great games. Get the red-carpet treatment with exclusive catalog-wide discounts, and in-game member benefits for some of our biggest franchises.

The full suite of the #1 life simulation game, The Sims 4, and its five years’ worth of added content packs will be available on June 18. Steam players can express their creativity as they customize their Sims’ appearances and personalities, build them the perfect home, pursue hobbies and careers, and develop their Sims’ relationships.

The Battlefield franchise also returns to Steam where players can experience all-out-war and pick their battles from modern day warfare in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 to the fights of the past during WWI and WWII in Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V respectively. They can even enjoy some cops and criminals action in Battlefield Hardline. What about visiting a galaxy far, far away? Now players can play as iconic Star Wars characters and with the incredible Star Wars vehicles in Star Wars Battlefront I and Star Wars Battlefront II. But that’s not all, as players can also get to know everyone’s favorite Shepard in Mass Effect 3, or explore the fantastical worlds of the BioWare™ award-winning Role-Playing Games – Dragon Age™: Inquisition and Dragon Age II or experience high-speed, white-knuckle driving action from the inner city streets to open mountain roads in Need for Speed™ Heat, Need for Speed: Rivals and Need for Speed (2016). Players can also battle it out in the wacky, fun and over-the-top shooter, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville™, or play from a selection of the bold and innovative games from EA’s indie development partners like Unravel, Unravel II, Fe and Sea of Solitude.

As part of EA’s wider push to release its games on Steam, the company is launching FIFA 21 on the platform. A product page for the game has gone live, showing a release date of October 3.
