How good a pack is depends on various factors, such as the time of year it’s released, the number and type of cards, or their price.

Pack Opening

Opening packs adds an element of excitement to the Ultimate Team journey. Yet, the true thrill lies in receiving valuable cards, a feat that requires luck and strategy.

If you’re considering delving into pack openings, it’s essential to discern which packs offer the best chances of scoring big. Your choice should align with your goals: aiming to strengthen a bronze squad? Opt for a bronze pack. Need to stock up on consumables? Explore consumables packs. However, for many, the allure lies in acquiring top-tier and lucrative items, prompting a dive into Gold packs. But which Gold pack reigns supreme? We’re here to steer you toward the best picks across various categories.

Before we point out the best packs in the game, it’s important to consider several factors. Firstly, this is a game of chance, meaning you may draw better cards from a supposedly inferior pack. What’s crucial to note is that when statistically analyzing the contents of packs across a large sample size, the trend suggests that better packs contain better cards.

Secondly, it’s worth reminding that opening packs is not the most effective strategy for building a strong team. Whenever possible, prioritize trading and gameplay. EA’s goal is not to hand you the best cards in the game, but rather to strike a balance between player dissatisfaction and their hope of improving their team, thereby keeping them as active consumers of FC Points.

How to Pick the Best Packs

Choosing the best packs is a complex task because EA constantly adds new packs, and the value of their contents varies throughout the season. A rare player item with an 85 rating has completely different values at the beginning of the game compared to when the game is nearing its end and making way for its successor.

Moreover, it may seem strange, but EA does not use a proportional relationship between the prices of packs in FC Coins and FC Points. In other words, some packs may be better choices when purchased with coins, while others might be more worthwhile if paid for with FC Points.

Best Packs

When someone asks us which is the best pack in FC 25, they usually want to know which pack has the best cards, regardless of its price. Since the game has hundreds of packs, and many of them are only available at specific times, we limited our analysis to only the most popular ones.

As a general rule, a pack is more valuable the more rare players it contains, especially if it guarantees high ratings. In this sense, the best packs are those that offer the lowest price per rare player.

However, not everyone opens packs expecting to pack Ronaldo or Messi. Some people do not need to pack top-tier cards; their main goal is to make coins or at least minimize their costs while having a chance to pack something valuable. For them, we have listed the most profitable packs.

The Premium Energizer and Energizer Packs are must-buys, but since they are untradeable, they are not included in this list.
