Introduction to the FUT 14 Brazilian Players Guide
Building a team is the biggest challenge in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team. It doesn’t need to be the best team, even because the budget may not allow it, but it needs to be the player’s stature for him to obtain success.
When choosing which players to play with, you will have to look carefully at their attributes. Choosing a team based on ratings is one of the most common mistakes on FUT 14. It’s precisely this aspect that this guide focuses on. For each position, and focusing on the truly important attributes, we’ll show who are the best athletes to choose.
It’s also important that the player checks to see if the player he chooses fits the formations he likes to play in. For example, a good full back will be useless if the player only uses formations with three defenders. According to those formations, the player must be cautious to look at the work rates, trying to relate them with the ones we advise in our Formations Guide.
Last but not least, it’s mandatory that you tune all of your team so that the individual and team chemistry be as high possible. For this last step to be easier, the majority of the players start to define the type of team they’re building. Some choose gathering players of the same nationality, while others decide to form a team of players from the same league. The most popular league is the Barclays Premier League and the most popular nationality is the Brazilian. There are also more experienced players that can form hybrid teams without damaging the chemistry a lot.
All of these steps are necessary to have; it could be that the team is not always well built as it could’ve been. This article aims to help those that think or want to form a FIFA 14 Ultimate Team based on Brazilian players. Even the ones have one, could take out some valuable conclusion from this guide that could help turn your team even better.
It’s important that the readers understand that this guide is simply guidance. It’s a theme too vast and the player’s combinations are almost infinite. Besides, there are various factors that influence the choices, like it’s one’s style of play, the formations used, the available budget, the preferences or even the time spent playing. There’s still one uncertain component: a good player for someone might not be for another. If there was a better team everyone would fight to get it. Part of the fun of FIFA 14 Ultimate Team is this: everyone has their personal club and players.
Another important point and that must stay very clear is that whoever is reading this guide, it’s about some criteria we chose and should be of everyone’s knowledge:
- In this guide we didn’t consider silver or bronze player. Most players don’t assume them to be a better option than gold players, so to simplify the guide’s analysis we didn’t include them. In the future we may come to publish guides exclusively talking about these categories.
- In this guide we didn’t consider In Forms (IF). They’re extremely expensive and in most cases are not considered good value for money. They should only be used by players with generous budgets, that already have the best team possible and that want small upgrades.
- In this guide we didn’t consider players that have been transferred to other clubs or that have been reviewed (UP).
- In this guide we didn’t consider changes made on a players performance such happens when applying training or chemistry styles cards.
- To make the comprehension of this guide easier we divided the players in nine distinct groups in order of their original position: Goalkeeper (GK), central backs (CB), right backs (RB and RWB), left backs (LB and LWB), central defensive midfielders (CDM) central midfielders (CM and CAM), right midfielders (RM, RW and RF), left midfielders (LM, LW and LF) and forwards (CF and ST).
- In the chapter where FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Brazilian teams are suggested, the prices considered are the ones of the date of the guide’s publication: January 2014. It’s natural that the prices have suffered some oscillations throughout the season, so they should only be considered as guiding prices.
Brazilian Players
The Brazilian national football team hegemony is huge. It is the only team that has participated in all World Cups, having a record high of five wins. The quality of Brazilian players is recognized throughout the world. There are players of this nationality in almost all professional leagues.
Many of the best players in football history were born in Brazil: Pelé, Garrincha, Zico, Romário, Ronaldo, Sócrates, Falcão, Tostão and Jairzinho are some good examples. Ronaldinho and Kaká were two of the best Brazilian players in the last years. Currently, some of the biggest stars continue to be Brazilian players: Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Dani Alves, Hulk and Marcelo.
The choices are a lot for which our guide will certainly be useful as to building a team with players from this nationality. The squads built with Brazilian players are good choices to who is looking quality players by a good price.
FUT 14 Brazilian Goalkeepers (GK)
Goalkeepers are the players that are less used on field. Because of this they are also the disdained when building a team. Most players start their purchases with a forward, later they strengthen the midfield the defence and only later the goal. The truth is a good goalkeeper may be worth a lot of goals. It’s good investment because they’re normally the most economically accessible players.
The ratings of the many Brazilian goalkeepers have changed since FUT 13. Jefferson and Júlio César are the most popular but there are other good goalkeepers that should be considered.
MOST HIGH-RATED GOALKEEPERS
Jefferson | 82 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Botafogo |
Júlio César | 82 | League Championship | Queens Park Rangers |
Diego Alves | 81 | Liga BBVA | Valencia CF |
Helton | 81 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Diego Cavalieri | 80 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Fluminense |
Victor | 79 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Mineiro |
Artur Moraes | 79 | Liga ZON SAGRES | SL Benfica |
Fábio | 78 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Cruzeiro |
Cássio | 78 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Corinthians |
Gomes | 77 | Premier League | Tottenham Hotspur |
When choosing a good goalkeeper it’s not only down to his rating. There are two fundamental attributes for choosing a good goalkeeper: reflexes and diving.
The first measures a goalkeeper’s agility when making a save. Like Casillas, Diego Alves is the best of the world on this aspect.
GOALKEEPERS WITH BEST REFLEXES
Diego Alves | 90 | Liga BBVA | Valencia CF |
Jefferson | 87 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Botafogo |
Júlio César | 86 | League Championship | Queens Park Rangers |

Fábio | 83 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Cruzeiro |
Rafael | 83 | Serie A | Napoli |
Muriel | 83 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Internacional |
Vanderlei | 83 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Coritiba |
Diving is a fundamental attribute when choosing a goalkeeper. It measures the capacity for a goalkeeper to make a save when jumping.
Also in this aspect, Diego Alves is the best of the world. Only Buffon can be compared with him.

Diego Alves | 90 | Liga BBVA | Valencia CF |
Júlio César | 83 | League Championship | Queens Park Rangers |

Cássio | 81 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Corinthians |
Guilherme | 81 | Russia Premier League | Lokomotiv Moskva |
Diego Cavalieri | 80 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Fluminense |
The most experienced Ultimate Team players know that another leaning factor on a goalkeeper’s performance without considering the remaining four attributes: height. The more tall a goalkeeper is, better his chances of having a clean sheet.
This is Diego Alves’ weak point. Even though he can’t be considered a short goalkeeper, the truth is he’s 9 cm short of the mighty Guilherme, this gold goalkeeper holds the title of tallest Brazilian Goalkeeper. None of the four highest goalkeepers has more 1,90 m.
TALLEST GOALKEEPERS | |||
Guilherme | 197 | Russia Premier League | Lokomotiv Moskva |
Cássio | 195 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Corinthians |
Vanderlei | 195 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Coritiba |
Dida | 195 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Grêmio |
Victor | 193 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Mineiro |
Artur Moraes | 192 | Liga ZON SAGRES | SL Benfica |
Diego Cavalieri | 191 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Fluminense |
Gomes | 191 | Premier League | Tottenham Hotspur |
Fernando Prass | 191 | Brazil Serie B | Palmeiras |
Muriel | 190 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Internacional |
The choice for the best Brazilian goalkeeper on FIFA 14 Ultimate team, is easy: Diego Alves. He has the best reflexes and diving of the world, and he is one of the fastest.
For us, Helton is the best alternative to the Valencia’s goalkeeper. Jefferson is almost as good as he is but has worse kicking and is slower. Júlio César is our number four. Has good stats but he is really slow and he is the shortest one.
For those who want a cheap goalkeeper, Gomes is a great choice. He is not as good as the four best Brazilian goalkeepers but he has a good diving, amazing reflexes and balanced stats.
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Goalkeeper
FUT 14 Brazilian Central Backs (CB)
A goalkeepers task is made easier if in front of him are quality central backs. Their function is to stop the opponent from getting dangerously close to your team’s goal.
Thiago Silva and Dante are the Brazilian central backs with the best reputation. No other players can be compared to them.
HIGHEST RATED CENTRAL BACKS
Thiago Silva | 87 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |

Paulo Vinícius | 78 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Braga |
Juan Jesus | 78 | Serie A | Inter |
Leandro Castán | 78 | Serie A | Roma |
On a central back, two attributes assume particular importance on their performance: defending and heading.
A player with better defending will have an easier chance of dispossessing the opponent and avoid him reaching your box.
It’s the case of the best rated player: Thiago Silva. It’s really hard to get past him. The most experienced players are normally those who have a higher rating on this attribute. Dante, André Dias, Naldo and Weligton prove this.

Thiago Silva | 87 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Dante | 84 | Bundesliga | Bayern München |

Alex | 79 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Juan Jesus | 79 | Serie A | Inter |
Leandro Castán | 79 | Serie A | Roma |
On a game partially made difficult on stopping an opponent’s header in our box, possessing good heading is even more important on a central back than it was before. Allow him to be superior in your box when defending air balls but it’s also worth it on set pieces, like corners where a central backs jump may just be worth some goals.
In this chapter Alex is the strongest one. Thiago Silva is not as tall or have so good heading but he is the Brazilian with best jumping. If you choose to not buy one of them, Felipe Santana, Paulo Vinícius and Leonardo Silva handle it pretty well.
In the other hand, Naldo is the tallest but has the second worse jumping.
CENTRAL BACKS WITH BETTER HEADING
Alex | 86 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Paulo Vinícius | 84 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Braga |
Felipe Santana | 84 | Bundesliga | FC Schalke 04 |
Leonardo Silva | 84 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Mineiro |
Thiago Silva | 83 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Miranda | 83 | Liga BBVA | Atlético de Madrid |
Maicon | 83 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Dedé | 82 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Cruzeiro |
Edu Dracena | 82 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Santos |
Dante | 81 | Bundesliga | Bayern München |

Lúcio | 81 | Campeonato Brasileiro | São Paulo |
David Luiz | 80 | Premier League | Chelsea |
Luisão | 80 | Liga ZON SAGRES | SL Benfica |
Juan Jesus | 80 | Serie A | Inter |
Defending and heading may be useless against fast opponents. It’s necessary to fight fire with fire. No likes feeling impotent when seeing you get overrun by extremely fast players. Even though, in a way, centre backs aren’t that fast, every team needs one of these players with a high pace attribute.
In a general way, the Brazilian central backs are very fast. Felipe Santana is the third fastest CB of the world. Thiago Silva is almost as fast but with better stats.
CENTRAL BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Felipe Santana | 81 | Bundesliga | FC Schalke 04 |
Thiago Silva | 80 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Manoel | 80 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Paranaense |
Juan Jesus | 79 | Serie A | Inter |
Marquinhos | 78 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
David Luiz | 77 | Premier League | Chelsea |
Miranda | 76 | Liga BBVA | Atlético de Madrid |

Bamba Anderson | 73 | Bundesliga | Eintracht Frankfurt |
Dante | 68 | Bundesliga | Bayern München |
Dedé | 68 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Cruzeiro |

Paulo Vinícius | 65 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Braga |
Henrique | 63 | Brazil Serie B | Palmeiras |
Maicon | 62 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Thiago Silva is probably the best central back of the world. He is the second Brazilian central back with best pace and the one with best defending. In FUT 14 he is really cheap. A great investment.
Benefiting from their popularity and their characteristic for a good chemistry, David Luiz come up as being one of the first choices for teams based on Brazilian players. He is without a doubt a good player for this position but there are other cheaper solutions. Like, Felipe Santana and Miranda, the central backs that, excepting Thiago Silva, have best average between the three most important attributes we considered. Dante and Alex are interesting players but a bit slow.
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Central Backs
FUT 14 Brazilian Right Backs (RB and RWB)
Full backs have the role of troubling the mission of the wingers. Not only. In addition, good full backs also support their team mates on offensive maneuvers.
For all players with a good budget, to choose the best right back is something very simple. Dani Alves is by far the best one.
HIGHEST RATED RIGHT BACKS
Dani Alves | 84 | Liga BBVA | FC Barcelona |
Maicon | 78 | Serie A | Roma |
Danilo | 77 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Rafael | 77 | Premier League | Manchester United |
Mariano | 76 | Ligue 1 | Girondins de Bordeaux |
There are very important attributes in any right back: defending and pace.
Since they’re defenders they should have good defending capacities. This reduces a team’s risk of conceding.
Dani Alves and Maicon are the players that best fits this aspect.
RIGHT BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Dani Alves | 79 | Liga BBVA | FC Barcelona |
Maicon | 79 | Serie A | Roma |
Danilo | 76 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Rafael | 76 | Premier League | Manchester United |
Mário Fernandes | 76 | Russia Premier League |
A flanked game tends to be faster than a game based in the middle of the field. The players that fill these spaces are obligated to be fast, both penetrating defensive and attacking moves of the team. Pace is one of the most important requirements for a good full back.
Between all of the Brazilian right backs, Dani Alves is clearly the fastest one. He is the third fastest player of the world playing in this position. This is the weakest point of Maicon, the second Right Back with best rating.
RIGHT BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Dani Alves | 90 | Liga BBVA | FC Barcelona |
Mariano | 88 | Ligue 1 | Girondins de Bordeaux |
Leandro Salino | 84 | Hellas liga | Olympiacos CFP |
Danilo | 83 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Rafael | 81 | Premier League | Manchester United |
Dani Alves is undoubtedly the best Brazilian right back. He is the fastest and who has the best passing, dribbling and defending, important attributes in a full back. But he is also the most expensive.
After several downgrades, Maicon is not any more our second choice. He is a balanced player but Mariano and Danilo are now probably better choices.
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Right Backs
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Left Backs (LB e LWB)
Left backs have exactly the same role of their team mates on the other flank. In other words, they try to make a winger’s job hard and participate on the team’s offensive manoeuvres.
There are only two players that stands out in this position, both playing in Madrid: Marcelo and Filipe Luis.
HIGHEST RATED LEFT BACKS
Marcelo | 83 | Liga BBVA | Real Madrid |
Filipe Luís | 82 | Liga BBVA | Atlético de Madrid |
Alex Sandro | 79 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Maxwell | 77 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Adriano | 77 | Liga BBVA | FC Barcelona |
Marcelo and Filipe Luís are also the players with best defending. Alex Sandro, that plays by FC Porto, is the number three of this list.
LEFT BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Marcelo | 81 | Liga BBVA | Real Madrid |
Filipe Luís | 81 | Liga BBVA | Atlético de Madrid |
Alex Sandro | 79 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Maxwell | 77 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Adriano | 76 | Liga BBVA | FC Barcelona |
The three players with best defending are also the ones with better pace. The difference between Filipe Luis, Marcelo and Alex Sandro is very small.
LEFT BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Filipe Luís | 83 | Liga BBVA | Atlético de Madrid |
Marcelo | 82 | Liga BBVA | Real Madrid |
Alex Sandro | 82 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Siqueira | 81 | Liga ZON SAGRES | SL Benfica |
Fábio | 77 | Premier League | Manchester |
To choose the best Brazilian Left Back is an easy task. Marcelo has the best passing, dribbling and defending stats. The choice seems to be obvious but the truth is that in FUT 14 Filipe Luis is much better than before and he is now a good player for who can not afford Marcelo. He has the same defending, better pace and higher stamina.
Of all the remaining players, Alex Sandro is our cheapest choice. For who is looking a RB with good shooting, Adriano is a smart choice.
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Left Backs
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Defensive Midfielder (CDM)
Many of the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team formations require some midfielders that have a natural aptitude to defend. Defensive midfielders distinguish themselves for being especially aimed to help the more retreated line of their teams. According to their attributes and their work rates, they can also be useful for starting attacks. They are players that occupy a very strategic position in the field.
The supremacy of Luiz Gustavo, Filipe Melo and Ramires over all other Brazilian central defensive midfielders is extremely clear.
HIGHEST RATED DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS
Luiz Gustavo | 81 | Bundesliga | VfL Wolfsburg |
Felipe Melo | 80 | Turkey Süper Lig | Galatasaray SK |
Ramires | 80 | Premier League | Chelsea |
Fernando | 79 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Elias | 78 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Flamengo |
Jean | 77 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Fluminense |
Fernando | 76 | Ukraine Wyscha Liga | Shakhtar Donetsk |
Willians | 76 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Internacional |
Ralf | 75 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Corinthians |
Pierre | 75 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Mineiro |
There are a variety of attributes in a central defensive midfielder that you have to give attention: defending, so that the first defender of team works; strength, so that you win all brawls on a prone area of the field; heading, to win possession in aerial moves like goal kicks; pace, so that you cover the most terrain on the field as possible; stamina, so they can equally participate in offensive a defensive moves (especially useful for players with high/high work rates); passing and possession so that he can properly start attacks. In our opinion the two first are the most important.
Normally using a central defensive midfielder is associated with having a deficit of elements in your defence. So, it makes sense that when you search for a player to occupy this position you’d want players that can defend.
The CDMs with best defending stats are Luiz Gustavo and Fernando. Filipe Melo is also a good choice since he joins good defending stats to the best heading. Any of these three players are good choices for teams that want to complicate an opponent’s game in the space between the midfield and the defence.
DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Luiz Gustavo | 83 | Bundesliga | VfL Wolfsburg |
Fernando | 83 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Ralf | 81 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Corinthians |
Felipe Melo | 80 | Turkey Süper Lig | Galatasaray SK |
Pierre | 80 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Mineiro |
Elias | 77 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Flamengo |
Fernando | 77 | Ukraine Wyscha Liga | Shakhtar Donetsk |
Ramires | 76 | Premier League | Chelsea |
Willians | 76 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Internacional |
Rômulo | 76 | Russia Premier League | Spartak Moskva |
The area of the field occupied by the defensive midfielders is the one where most ball dispute happen. Strong players will have a higher probability of winning the ball.
There’s not a lot of muscle between the Brazilian defensive midfielders. Once again, Felipe Melo, Fernando and Luiz Gustavo are the ones that stand out. On the other hand there’s Ramires. The Chelsea’s player rarely wins a physical brawl due to being the weakest Brazilian central defensive midfielder.
STRONGEST DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS
Felipe Melo | 87 | Turkey Süper Lig | Galatasaray SK |
Fernando | 80 | Liga ZON SAGRES | FC Porto |
Luiz Gustavo | 79 | Bundesliga | VfL Wolfsburg |

Fernando | 75 | Ukraine Wyscha Liga | Shakhtar Donetsk |

Rômulo | 74 | Russia Premier League | Spartak Moskva |
Jucilei | 71 | Russia Premier League | Anzhi Makhachkala |
Elias | 70 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Flamengo |
Felipe Melo is our choice to play as defensive midfielder. He is better than Luiz Gustavo. However, the Wolfsburg’ player should be used by who is looking for a more defensive player.
Ramires is a different player. He is like a fake defensive midfielder. He works very well in a box to box system. In the whole world, no other player that plays in the same position has better pace. He is also the player with the best stamina in FUT 14. Among all the Brazilian defensive midfielder, he is who has the best dribbling and passing. However, he is too weak physically to play as defensive midfielder. We suggest to use him as CM.
Among the cheap players, Elias is our choice. He is good attacking and defending.
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Defensive Midfielders
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Central Midfielders (CM e CAM)
A lot of games are decided on the midfield and not close to the goals. The players that play in these zones are the ones that should create the game and define its rhythm.
There is a lot of quality in the Brazilian midfield. Many of these players have a rating higher than 80. Diego is the number one.

Bernard | 80 | Ukraine Wyscha Liga | Shakhtar Donetsk |
Zé Roberto | 79 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Grêmio |
Juninho | 78 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Vasco da Gama |
Central midfielders are responsible for discovering lines that break the opponents defence. Their passing quality has to be really good so they can assist forwards.
Who knows, never forgets. It’s the case of Ronaldinho, the Brazilian player with better passing. Alex, from Coritiba, is the number two.

Jadson | 80 | Campeonato Brasileiro | São Paulo |
Renato | 80 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Botafogo |
Kaká | 79 | Serie A | Milan |
Among all the Brazilian players, Coutinho is who has better dribbling. However, Ronaldinho may be a better choice because he is one of the few that know how to perform all the skills.

Alex | 82 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Coritiba |
Renato Augusto | 82 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Corinthians |
Zé Roberto | 82 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Grêmio |
It is not easy to choose the best Brazilian midfield in FUT 14. To us, Hernanes is the best one because he is the most balanced. Diego has the highest rating but he is only our second choice. There are other seven good players that can be used depending of your needs.
Ronaldinho is a great player for who is looking for a skilly player. If his low pace is a problem, Bernard, Fernandinho, Coutinho and Óscar may be good alternatives. Unfortunately the four players are very weak physically. Paulinho has good defensive attributes and can be used as a CDM. With Kaka it is the opposite. The Brazilian AC Milan should only be used by those who want an attacking player.
Our cheapest choice falls to Anderson and Jadson. Both may play very well as centre midfielders. The player of São Paulo is a 5 stars skills.
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Central Midfielders
Brazilian Right Wingers (RM, RW e RF)
The wingers are responsible for giving game width in the attack. They’re normally very explosive players.
There are only four gold Brazilian right wingers, but two of them are top players: Hulk and Lucas.
HIGHEST RATED RIGHT WINGERS
Hulk | 84 | Russia Premier League | Zenit St. Petersburg |
Lucas | 82 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Alan | 79 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Braga |
Danilo Dias | 76 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Marítimo |
There are three fundamental attribute on a winger: pace, dribbling and passing.
Pace is probably the biggest weapon of these players. They use it to evade opponents and getting to the other side, many times through sprints on the side lines.
In the world and for this position, only Juan Cuadrado and Jakub Blaszczykowski have better pace than Óscar. Hulk and Danilo Dias are also very fast players.
FASTEST RIGHT WINGERS | |||
Lucas | 92 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Hulk | 86 | Russia Premier League | Zenit St. Petersburg |
Danilo Dias | 84 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Marítimo |
Alan | 77 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Braga |
Just being fast doesn’t cut it to reach the opponents box, having good dribbling to surpass the opponents’ players that appear on the way.
Lucas has the best dribbling among all the Brazilian players. No one can be compared to him in this aspect.
RIGHT WINGERS WITH BETTER DRIBLLING
Lucas | 88 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Hulk | 83 | Russia Premier League | Zenit St. Petersburg |
Alan | 81 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Braga |
Danilo Dias | 79 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Marítimo |
When reaching the opponents box the winger has to decide what to do. Normally, they choose to cross to the forwards. That is why it’s important for them to have good passing.
Lucas, Hulk and Alan have a passing very similar. Our choice is Hulk because he has the best crossing.
RIGHT WINGERS WITH BETTER PASSING
Hulk | 79 | Russia Premier League | Zenit St. Petersburg |
Alan | 79 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Braga |
Lucas | 78 | Ligue 1 | Paris Saint-Germain |
Danilo Dias | 72 | Liga ZON SAGRES | Marítimo |
The side change by Lucas brought competition to Hulk. In the most important attributes, both are very similar. However, the Zenit’s player is much more balanced: he is very strong and aggressive, has an amazing stamina and his shots are very strong.
Alan is slightly better than Danilo Dias, making him our economic choice.
Best FUT 14 Brazilian Right Wingers
Brazilian Left Wingers (LM, LW e LF)
The left wingers have exactly the same role as their team mates from the other side.
Willian is clearly the best Brazilian player for this position. No one can be compared with him.

Joãozinho | 75 | Russia Premier League | FC Krasnodar |
Willian has an amazing pace but Osvaldo is even faster. He’s pace is higher than 90.

Osvaldo | 90 | Campeonato Brasileiro | São Paulo |
Willian | 88 | Premier League | Chelsea |
Fernandinho | 85 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Mineiro |
Joãozinho | 79 | Russia Premier League | FC Krasnodar |
Ribéry is clearly the most highlighted left winger in this chapter. In the world and for this position, no one has better dribbling. Reus e Elia have good dribbling too.
Excepting Joãozinho, all the Brazilian Left Wings have good dribbling. Willian is the best one.

Willian | 88 | Premier League | Chelsea |
Osvaldo | 84 | Campeonato Brasileiro | São Paulo |
Fernandinho | 80 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Mineiro |
Joãozinho | 73 | Russia Premier League | FC Krasnodar |
Willian is clearly the best fitted passer between the remaining left wingers. Osvaldo and Fernandinho have bad passing skills.

Willian | 78 | Premier League | Chelsea |
Joãozinho | 76 | Russia Premier League | FC Krasnodar |
Osvaldo | 67 | Campeonato Brasileiro | São Paulo |
Fernandinho | 66 | Campeonato Brasileiro | Atlético Mineiro |
Willian is the best Brazilian Left Winger. He has the best dribbling and passing, two of the three most important attributes. Fernandinho and Osvaldo have a bad passing while Joãozinho is slow and has a poor dribbling.
Osvaldo is better than Fernandinho but he is too expensive for his quality. The winger of Atlético Mineiro is our economic choice.

Brazilian Forwards (CF e ST)
The forwards are the players on which fall the most responsibility of scoring goals.
There are good Brazilian forwards but no one is as good as Neymar. Surprisingly, he was one of the players who got a downgrade compared to FUT 13, but he is still the best striker.

To score goals shooting is necessary. If either by foot or head, the most important attribute for a forward are: shooting, heading and pace.
Most goals are scored with the foot so good shooting is a necessary attribute for a forward.
Lima has the best shooting. Among all the Brazilian forwards, he is the one with the best power shot and has the second long shot stats.

On FUT 14, knowing how to head gained another importance. Plenty of goals are born like this.
Leandro Damião is the best choice for who is looking a player with good heading. Like Fred, he is one of the tallest, with better jumping and that has the best heading accuracy. In the bottom of this list is Neymar.

Depending on the style of play and formation having good shooting and heading may not be enough for a striker. Especially in games that privilege counter-attack, pace is a very important attribute.
Neymar is one of the ten fastest forwards of the world. Due to his high price, Alexandre Pato is used many times as alternative. Emerson and Leandro are also fast players, but they are not great in the other attributes.

Neymar is the best Brazilian forward and one of best in the whole world. He is the fastest, has the best dribbling, the best passing and has 5 stars skills and 5 stars weak foot. He can also plays as CF and CAM. However, he is a bit expensive forcing many players to choose another forward. That choice is subjective because it depends of the play style of each player. In our opinion, Leandro Damião is the best one for who wants a player with good heading, Alexandre Pato for who wants a player really really fast and Lima for who is looking for a finisher. Diego Alves can also be an option. He has a bit of everything.
Far from the quality of these four players, Jô and Welliton are our cheapest choices.

Brazilian Team Suggestions
A lot of people think that this is the most important part of the guide. It’s not. The thing that is really important to know is how to choose player based on their role and style of play that fits each player. And that is made in the previous chapters. The team suggestions that follow are simple graphic indicators of what we wrote previously. They should serve merely as orientation because it’s impossible to build a team that fits everyone. They depend on various factors we don’t know such as budget, formation, style of play and player preferences.
To try and explore the needs of the maximum player as possible we suggest three teams with different budgets and formations: 4-1-2-1-2 with unlimited budget, 4-3-3 with 50k budget and 4-2-2 with a 12k budget.

- Summary
The choice for this team’s player was based on analysis made in the previous chapters.
In goal, Diego Alvesr is probably one of the best goalkeeper of FUT 14. In centre back position, Thiago Silva is unquestionable. Even with a risky high/medium work rate, we have chosen David Luiz as the other CB since in this formation there is a CDM helping the back four. To that position, we have picked Felipe Melo instead of Ramires, because the Chelsea’s player is too weak physically. The fullbacks are probably the best of the world. Dani Alves is untouchable on the right side, while on the left Marcelo only has competition from Filipe Luis.
Hernanes is the most balanced Brazilian player to play as CAM, but the choice can be different according to the play style. Ronaldinho, Kaká, Diego, Bernard, Fernandinho, Coutinho and Óscar are good choices.
The two wingers are irreplaceable, the same happens with Neymar and Dieo Costa in the attack. These four players are the most expensive.

- Summary
The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapter.
In goal, the goalkeepers are the same because they are really cheap. In the centre of the defence, Miranda and Felipe Santana ensure quality and speed by a low price. The full backs are still very fast but much cheaper. On the midfield, Ramires places on the centre helping the attack and the defence. Hernanes and Diego are the natural choices to the other two spots. On the attack, Lucas gives even more speed to the right side, while on the left Osvaldo tries to hide the lack of good Brazilian players to this position. The man of the goals is Diego Costa. He is a more balanced choice than Lima, Leandro Damião and Pato.

- Summary
The choice for this team’s players was based on analysis made in the previous chapter.
In goal Diego Alves would be a great additional investment but we have chosen to give the spot to other goalkeepers. After the Valencia’s player, Gomes is the greatest best value for money. In front of him, Juan jesus and Manoel close the path to goal with the precious help of Elias. The Flamengo’s player is a very useful element in these types of formation for giving defensive security in midfield and setting free team mates to start attacks. Mariano and Rafinha are the full backs.
The biggest new of this team is the double Alan / Fernandinho that with their pace and dribbling above the average give width to the attack. On the last third of the field, Lima and Leandro Damião complement each other. The first one is better on the ground, while the second is better by the air.
Hybrid Squads
Building a hybrid team is not usually an easy task. The biggest difficulty is finding key player to join between different leagues and nationalities.
To build hybrids squads with this nationality is an easy task since there are Brazilian players in the whole world. The team with greatest quality is the result of the combination of Brazilians with the BBVA. Neymar, Marcelo, Dani Alves and Diego Costa are key players in this connection.
Building a good Hybrid team based in the BPL and in Brazilian players is also possible. Willian, David Luiz, Óscar and Ramires are essential in this hybrids.
On an inferior level, and besides the Brazilian league, the players of this nationality still connects reasonably with other leagues, especially with the Bundesliga. Dante, Diego, Luiz Gustavo and Felipe Santana have their role in these hybrids.
Follow our other league guide to easily build your hybrid team.
