Introduction to the FUT 14 English Players Guide

Building a team is the biggest challenge in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team. It doesn’t need to be the best team, even because the budget may not allow it, but it needs to be the player’s stature for him to obtain success.

When choosing which players to play with, you will have to look carefully at their attributes. Choosing a team based on ratings is one of the most common mistakes on FUT 14. It’s precisely this aspect that this guide focuses on. For each position, and focusing on the truly important attributes, we’ll show who are the best athletes to choose.

It’s also important that the player checks to see if the player he chooses fits the formations he likes to play in. For example, a good full back will be useless if the player only uses formations with three defenders. According to those formations, the player must be cautious to look at the work rates, trying to relate them with the ones we advise in our Formations Guide.

Last but not least, it’s mandatory that you tune all of your team so that the individual and team chemistry be as high possible. For this last step to be easier, the majority of the players start to define the type of team they’re building. Some choose gathering players of the same nationality, while others decide to form a team of players from the same league. The most popular leagues are the Brazilians and the Barclays Premier League. There are also more experienced players that can form hybrid teams without damaging the chemistry a lot.

All of these steps are necessary to have; it could be that the team is not always well built as it could’ve been. This article aims to help those that think or want to form a FIFA 14 Ultimate Team based on English players. Even the ones have one, could take out some valuable conclusion from this guide that could help turn your team even better.

It’s important that the readers understand that this guide is simply guidance. It’s a theme too vast and the player’s combinations are almost infinite. Besides, there are various factors that influence the choices, like it’s one’s style of play, the formations used, the available budget, the preferences or even the time spent playing. There’s still one uncertain component: a good player for someone might not be for another. If there was a better team everyone would fight to get it. Part of the fun of FIFA 14 Ultimate Team is this: everyone has their personal club and players.

Another important point and that must stay very clear is that whoever is reading this guide, it’s about some criteria we chose and should be of everyone’s knowledge:

  • Only Gold Players
    • In this guide we didn’t consider silver or bronze player. Most players don’t assume them to be a better option than gold players, so to simplify the guide’s analysis we didn’t include them. In the future we may come to publish guides exclusively talking about these categories.
  • Only Regular Players
    • In this guide we didn’t consider In Forms (IF). They’re extremely expensive and in most cases are not considered good value for money. They should only be used by players with generous budgets, that already have the best team possible and that want small upgrades.
  • Only Normal Players
    • In this guide we didn’t consider players that have been transferred to other clubs or that have been reviewed (UP). Only players that started the season in their clubs and with their original attributes were considered.
  • Only Original Attributes
    • In this guide we didn’t consider changes made on a players performance such happens when applying training or chemistry styles cards.
  • Position analysis
    • To make the comprehension of this guide easier we divided the players in nine distinct groups in order of their original position: Goalkeeper (GK), central backs (CB), right backs (RB and RWB), left backs (LB and LWB), central defensive midfielders (CDM) central midfielders (CM and CAM), right midfielders (RM, RW and RF), left midfielders (LM, LW and LF) and forwards (CF and ST).
  • Prices at the date of publication of the guide
    • In the chapter where FIFA 14 Ultimate Team English Players teams are suggested, the prices considered are the ones of the date of the guide’s publication: March 2014. It’s natural that the prices have suffered some oscillations throughout the season, so they should only be considered as guiding prices.

    FUT 14 English Goalkeepers (GK)

Goalkeepers are the players that are less used on field. Because of this they are also the disdained when building a team. Most players start their purchases with a forward, later they strengthen the midfield the defence and only later the goal. The truth is a good goalkeeper may be worth a lot of goals. It’s good investment because they’re normally the most economically accessible players.

    MOST HIGH-RATED GOALKEEPERS
Joe Hart 83 Premier League Manchester City
Ben Foster 78 Premier League West Bromwich Albion
John Ruddy 78 Premier League Norwich City
Robert Green 76 League Championship Queens Park Rangers
Scott Carson 75 League Championship Wigan Athletic

When choosing a good goalkeeper it’s not only down to his rating. There are two fundamental attributes for choosing a good goalkeeper: reflexes and diving.

    GOALKEEPERS WITH BEST REFLEXES
Joe Hart 87 Premier League Manchester City
Scott Carson 83 League Championship Wigan Athletic
Ben Foster 82 Premier League West Bromwich Albion
Robert Green 82 League Championship Queens Park Rangers
John Ruddy 81 Premier League Norwich City

Diving is a fundamental attribute when choosing a goalkeeper. It measures the capacity for a goalkeeper to make a save when jumping.

    GOALKEEPER WITH BEST DIVING
Joe Hart 85 Premier League Manchester City
Robert Green 80 League Championship Queens Park Rangers
Scott Carson 80 League Championship Wigan Athletic
Ben Foster 79 Premier League West Bromwich Albion
John Ruddy 79 Premier League Norwich City

The most experienced Ultimate Team players know that another leaning factor on a goalkeeper’s performance without considering the remaining four attributes: height. The more tall a goalkeeper is, better his chances of having a clean sheet.

    TALLEST GOALKEEPERS
Joe Hart 196 Premier League Manchester City
Ben Foster 193 Premier League West Bromwich Albion
John Ruddy 193 Premier League Norwich City
Robert Green 191 League Championship Queens Park Rangers
Scott Carson 189 League Championship Wigan Athletic

The choice for the best English goalkeeper on FIFA 14 Ultimate team, is easy.

In our opinion, Joe Hart is the best choice. He is the best in five of the six attributes and he is also the tallest. He is an amazing goalkeeper. Ben Foster is our second choice.

FUT 14 English Central Backs (CB)

A goalkeepers task is made easier if in front of him are quality central backs. Their function is to stop the opponent from getting dangerously close to your team’s goal.

    HIGHEST RATED CENTRAL BACKS
John Terry 83 Premier League Chelsea
Rio Ferdinand 83 Premier League Manchester United
Joleon Lescott 81 Premier League Manchester City
Phil Jagielka 80 Premier League Everton
Gary Cahill 80 Premier League Chelsea
Michael Dawson 79 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Ryan Shawcross 78 Premier League Stoke City
Chris Smalling 78 Premier League Manchester United
Steven Taylor 76 Premier League Newcastle United
Wes Brown 76 Premier League Sunderland

On a central back, two attributes assume particular importance on their performance: defending and heading.

A player with better defending will have an easier chance of dispossessing the opponent and avoid him reaching your box.

    CENTRAL BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
John Terry 84 Premier League Chelsea
Rio Ferdinand 84 Premier League Manchester United
Joleon Lescott 82 Premier League Manchester City
Phil Jagielka 81 Premier League Everton
Gary Cahill 80 Premier League Chelsea
Michael Dawson 80 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Ryan Shawcross 80 Premier League Stoke City
Chris Smalling 80 Premier League Manchester United
Steven Taylor 78 Premier League Newcastle United
Wes Brown 77 Premier League Sunderland

On a game partially made difficult on stopping an opponent’s header in our box, possessing good heading is even more important on a central back than it was before. Allow him to be superior in your box when defending air balls but it’s also worth it on set pieces, like corners where a central backs jump may just be worth some goals.

    CENTRAL BACKS WITH BETTER HEADING
Joleon Lescott 85 Premier League Manchester City
John Terry 83 Premier League Chelsea
Gary Cahill 83 Premier League Chelsea
Michael Dawson 83 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Phil Jagielka 82 Premier League Everton
Ryan Shawcross 82 Premier League Stoke City
Rio Ferdinand 78 Premier League Manchester United
Steven Taylor 76 Premier League Newcastle United
Wes Brown 76 Premier League Sunderland
Nedum Onuoha 76 League Championship Queens Park Rangers

Defending and heading may be useless against fast opponents. It’s necessary to fight fire with fire. No likes feeling impotent when seeing you get overrun by extremely fast players. Even though, in a way, centre backs aren’t that fast, every team needs one of these players with a high pace attribute.

    CENTRAL BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Nedum Onuoha 77 League Championship Queens Park Rangers
Chris Smalling 76 Premier League Manchester United
Gary Cahill 73 Premier League Chelsea
Phil Jagielka 67 Premier League Everton
Wes Brown 65 Premier League Sunderland
Steven Taylor 59 Premier League Newcastle United
Rio Ferdinand 58 Premier League Manchester United
Ryan Shawcross 58 Premier League Stoke City
Joleon Lescott 53 Premier League Manchester City
Michael Dawson 52 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur

John Terry is the most popular English defender. However, he is too slow for formations with less than five defenders.
Gary Cahill is our favourite and Phil Jagielka is our second choice. Rio Ferdinand and Joleon Lescott are great choices for who doesn’t need fast central backs.

FUT 14 English Right Backs (RB and RWB)

Full backs have the role of troubling the mission of the wingers. Not only. In addition, good full backs also support their team mates on offensive maneuvers.

    HIGHEST RATED RIGHT BACKS
Micah Richards 79 Premier League Manchester City
Kyle Walker 79 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Glen Johnson 79 Premier League Liverpool
Phil Jones 78 Premier League Manchester United
Martin Kelly 75 Premier League Liverpool

There are very important attributes in any right back: defending and pace.

Since they’re defenders they should have good defending capacities. This reduces a team’s risk of conceding.

    RIGHT BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Micah Richards 81 Premier League Manchester City
Phil Jones 79 Premier League Manchester United
Kyle Walker 78 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Glen Johnson 76 Premier League Liverpool
Martin Kelly 75 Premier League Liverpool

A flanked game tends to be faster than a game based in the middle of the field. The players that fill these spaces are obligated to be fast, both penetrating defensive and attacking moves of the team. Pace is one of the most important requirements for a good full back.

    RIGHT BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Kyle Walker 92 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Glen Johnson 85 Premier League Liverpool
Micah Richards 81 Premier League Manchester City
Martin Kelly 74 Premier League Liverpool
Phil Jones 73 Premier League Manchester United

Kyle Walker is undoubtedly the best English right back. Micah Richards and Glen Johnson are good alternatives.

Best FUT 14 English Left Backs (LB e LWB)

Left backs have exactly the same role of their team mates on the other flank. In other words, they try to make a winger’s job hard and participate on the team’s offensive manoeuvres.

    HIGHEST RATED LEFT BACKS
Ashley Cole 85 Premier League Chelsea
Leighton Baines 83 Premier League Everton
Kieran Gibbs 78 Premier League Arsenal

    LEFT BACKS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Ashley Cole 82 Premier League Chelsea
Leighton Baines 79 Premier League Everton
Kieran Gibbs 78 Premier League Arsenal

    LEFT BACKS WITH BETTER PACE
Kieran Gibbs 84 Premier League Arsenal
Leighton Baines 79 Premier League Everton
Ashley Cole 76 Premier League Chelsea

Our preference goes to Ashley Cole. He is the slowest from the three English left backs, but he is also the most balanced one. Leighton Baines is our second choice.

Best FUT 14 English League Defensive Midfielder (CDM)

Many of the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team formations require some midfielders that have a natural aptitude to defend. Central defensive midfielders distinguish themselves for being especially aimed to help the more retreated line of their teams. According to their attributes and their work rates, they can also be useful for starting attacks. They are players that occupy a very strategic position in the field.

    HIGHEST RATED CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS
Gareth Barry 79 Premier League Everton
Scott Parker 79 Premier League Fulham
Lee Cattermole 76 Premier League Sunderland
Steve Sidwell 75 Premier League Fulham
Joey Barton 75 League Championship Queens Park Rangers

There are a variety of attributes in a central defensive midfielder that you have to give attention: defending, so that the first defender of team works; strength, so that you win all brawls on a prone area of the field; heading, to win possession in aerial moves like goal kicks; pace, so that you cover the most terrain on the field as possible; stamina, so they can equally participate in offensive a defensive moves (especially useful for players with high/high work rates); passing and possession so that he can properly start attacks. In our opinion the two first are the most important.

Normally using a central defensive midfielder is associated with having a deficit of elements in your defence. So, it makes sense that when you search for a player to occupy this position you’d want players that can defend.

CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS WITH BETTER DEFENDING
Gareth Barry 80 Premier League Everton
Scott Parker 80 Premier League Fulham
Lee Cattermole 78 Premier League Sunderland
Steve Sidwell 75 Premier League Fulham
Joey Barton 71 League Championship Queens Park Rangers

The area of the field occupied by the central defensive midfielders is the one where most ball dispute happen. Strong players will have a higher probability of winning the ball.

    STRONGEST CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS
Lee Cattermole 78 Premier League Sunderland
Gareth Barry 77 Premier League Everton
Joey Barton 74 League Championship Queens Park Rangers
Scott Parker 72 Premier League Fulham
Steve Sidwell 67 Premier League Fulham

Scott Parker is our first choice for this position. Comparing to Gareth Barry, our second choice, the only thing in which the Fulham’s player is worse is passing. Besides that, he is faster than Barry and he is the defensive midfielder with higher stamina.

Best FUT 14 English League Central Midfielders (CM e CAM)

A lot of games are decided on the midfield and not close to the goals. The players that play in these zones are the ones that should create the game and define its rhythm.

    HIGHEST RATED CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS
Steven Gerrard 83 Premier League Liverpool
Michael Carrick 82 Premier League Manchester United
Jack Wilshere 82 Premier League Arsenal
Frank Lampard 81 Premier League Chelsea
Tom Cleverley 78 Premier League Manchester United
Joe Cole 77 Premier League West Ham United
Jack Rodwell 77 Premier League Manchester City
Tom Huddlestone 76 Premier League Hull City
Leon Britton 76 Premier League Swansea City
Jordan Henderson 75 Premier League Liverpool
Mark Noble 75 Premier League West Ham Unit
Kevin Nolan 75 Premier League West Ham United

Central midfielders are responsible for discovering lines that break the opponents defence. Their passing quality has to be really good so they can assist forwards.

    CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS WITH BETTER PASSING
Steven Gerrard 86 Premier League Liverpool
Michael Carrick 84 Premier League Manchester United
Frank Lampard 84 Premier League Chelsea
Jack Wilshere 83 Premier League Arsenal
Tom Huddlestone 81 Premier League Hull City

Jack Rodwell 76 Premier League Manchester City
Mark Noble 76 Premier League West Ham Unit
Kevin Nolan 75 Premier League West Ham United

    CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS WITH BETTER DRIBBLING
Jack Wilshere 85 Premier League Arsenal
Joe Cole 82 Premier League West Ham United
Tom Cleverley 81 Premier League Manchester United
Frank Lampard 78 Premier League Chelsea
Steven Gerrard 77 Premier League Liverpool
Jack Rodwell 76 Premier League Manchester City
Leon Britton 76 Premier League Swansea City
Michael Carrick 75 Premier League Manchester United
Jordan Henderson 75 Premier League Liverpool
Mark Noble 71 Premier League West Ham Unit
Kevin Nolan 69 Premier League West Ham United
Tom Huddlestone 68 Premier League Hull City

Steven Gerrard is, in our opinion, the best FUT 14 English midfielder. He stands out in the two most important attributes: passing and dribbling.
Jack Wilshere is our second choice. He is great on passing and dribbling, but he is also the fastest English midfielder. Frank Lampard is a good alternative especially for who likes to long shots.

Best FUT 14 English League Right Wingers (RM, RW e RF)

The wingers are responsible for giving game width in the attack. They’re normally very explosive players.

    HIGHEST RATED RIGHT WINGERS
Theo Walcott 81 Premier League Arsenal
James Milner 81 Premier League Manchester City
Aaron Lennon 80 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Stewart Downing 78 Premier League West Ham United
Adam Lallana 78 Premier League Southampton
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 77 Premier League Arsenal
Adam Johnson 77 Premier League Sunderland

There are three fundamental attribute on a winger: pace, dribbling and passing.

Pace is probably the biggest weapon of these players. They use it to evade opponents and getting to the other side, many times through sprints on the side lines.

    FASTEST RIGHT WINGERS
Theo Walcott 96 Premier League Arsenal
Aaron Lennon 92 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Nathan Dyer 92 Premier League Swansea
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 89 Premier League Arsenal
Stewart Downing 77 Premier League West Ham United
Adam Johnson 77 Premier League Sunderland
Adam Lallana 76 Premier League Southampton
James Milner 70 Premier League Manchester City

Just being fast doesn’t cut it to reach the opponents box, having good dribbling to surpass the opponents’ players that appear on the way.

    RIGHT WINGERS WITH BETTER DRIBLLING
Aaron Lennon 84 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 84 Premier League Arsenal
Adam Lallana 82 Premier League Southampton
Adam Johnson 81 Premier League Sunderland

Stewart Downing 80 Premier League West Ham United
Nathan Dyer 80 Premier League Swansea
James Milner 79 Premier League Manchester City

When reaching the opponents box the winger has to decide what to do. Normally, they choose to cross to the forwards. That is why it’s important for them to have good passing.

    RIGHT WINGERS WITH BETTER PASSING
James Milner 84 Premier League Manchester City
Stewart Downing 76 Premier League West Ham United

Adam Lallana 75 Premier League Southampton

Theo Walcott 71 Premier League Arsenal
Aaron Lennon 71 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Nathan Dyer 68 Premier League Swansea

Theo Walcott is, in our opinion, the best English right winger. His amazing pace helps to hide some weakness in several stats.

Raheem Sterling 65 Premier League Liverpool
Scott Sinclair 61 Premier League West Bromwich A

Ashley Young is the best English left winger. He is really fast and no one has better shooting or dribbling than him among all left wingers of this nationality. Matt Jarvis is the best alternative to the United’s winger.

Best English League Forwards (CF e ST)

The forwards are the players on which fall the most responsibility of scoring goals.

    HIGHEST RATED FORWARDS
Wayne Rooney 87 Premier League Manchester United
Jermain Defoe 81 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Daniel Sturridge 80 Premier League Liverpool
Darren Bent 78 Premier League Fulham
Danny Welbeck 78 Premier League Manchester United
Andy Carroll 77 Premier League West Ham United
Peter Crouch 77 Premier League Stoke City
Rickie Lambert 76 Premier League Southampton
Bobby Zamora 75 League Championship Queens Par

To score goals shooting is necessary. If either by foot or head, the most important attribute for a forward are: shooting, heading and pace.

Most goals are scored with the foot so good shooting is a necessary attribute for a forward.

    FORWARDS WITH BETTER SHOOTING
Wayne Rooney 87 Premier League Manchester United
Jermain Defoe 83 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Darren Bent 78 Premier League Fulham
Daniel Sturridge 77 Premier League Liverpool
Rickie Lambert 77 Premier League Southampton
Bobby Zamora 75 League Championship Queens Par
Danny Welbeck 74 Premier League Manchester United
Andy Carroll 74 Premier League West Ham United
Peter Crouch 74 Premier League Stoke City

On FUT 14, knowing how to head gained another importance. Plenty of goals are born like this.

    FORWARDS WITH BETTER HEADING
Andy Carroll 88 Premier League West Ham United
Rickie Lambert 82 Premier League Southampton
Wayne Rooney 81 Premier League Manchester United
Bobby Zamora 80 League Championship Queens Par
Danny Welbeck 79 Premier League Manchester United
Darren Bent 74 Premier League Fulham
Daniel Sturridge 70 Premier League Liverpool
Jermain Defoe 68 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur

Depending on the style of play and formation having good shooting and heading may not be enough for a striker. Especially in games that privilege counter-attack, pace is a very important attribute.

    FORWARDS WITH BETTER PACE
Daniel Sturridge 90 Premier League Liverpool
Danny Welbeck 85 Premier League Manchester United
Jermain Defoe 83 Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
Darren Bent 80 Premier League Fulham
Wayne Rooney 76 Premier League Manchester United
Andy Carroll 73 Premier League West Ham United
Bobby Zamora 65 League Championship Queens Par
Rickie Lambert 59 Premier League Southampton
Peter Crouch 54 Premier League Stoke City

Wayne Rooney is, in our opinion, the best English forward. Andy Carroll is the right choice for who likes to cross to the head. Sturridge is the right choice for who loves counters. Jermain Defoe is the right choice for who is looking for a finisher.

    English Team Suggestions

A lot of people think that this is the most important part of the guide. It’s not. The thing that is really important to know is how to choose player based on their role and style of play that fits each player. And that is made in the previous chapters. The team suggestions that follow are simple graphic indicators of what we wrote previously. They should serve merely as orientation because it’s impossible to build a team that fits everyone. They depend on various factors we don’t know such as budget, formation, style of play and player preferences.

To try and explore the needs of the maximum player as possible we suggest two teams with different budgets and formations: 4-1-2-1-2 with unlimited budget and 4-3-3 with a 8k budget.

In goal, Joe Hart is unquestionable.
In centre back position, Cahill and Jagielka are good choices because Terry and Ferdinand are too slow. Walker and Cole are the full backs.
As CDM we have chosen Gerrard because he is the one with better quality for this position. To more defensive teams, Scott Parker is a good choice. In that case, Gerrard may play as CAM instead of Wilshere. The pace of Walcott and of Ashley Young makes the difference in the wings.
Wayne Rooney is the most popular player of this team. He can play next to Sturridge, Andy Carroll or Welbeck depending of the play style.

On the midfield, Scott Parker gives support to the attack but also to the defence while Rodwell and Henderson have freedom to attack. On the last third of the field, Lallana and Etherington are great players that support the striker Zamora.

    1. Hey Rodrigo, really enjoyed the guide and the website in general!
I just have a quick question about my squad.
      This is my squad:
      https://www.futhead.com/14/squads/11486627/

      1) How could I improve my squad (my playing style is passing and I’m going to buy
      Iniesta)

2)I’m having a trouble with Pique because he’s too slow so which defender should I choose?

      1. Hi.
You may find detailed answers to what you are asking in the BBVA guide.
        1) Iniesta instead of Fàbregas and Navas instead of Pedro.
        2) You don’t have many options. Inigo Martinez is one of them but you can also try a BBVA CB from other nationality like Pepe or Godín SIF.
        Regards

    2. Hi, since the german guide comments are closed i had no idea where to make this comment, so im sorry if this is the wrong place…

Im currently playing in a 4-2-2 formation with a bundesliga team, but things aren’t going so well. So im kinda debating on improving my bundesliga team with more quality players or switch to another liga team like Spain or England.

Below i’ve posted a link with the current team im playing with:
      https://www.futwiz.com/en/squad/1217756

Could u please help me out with my debate and if it would be better to change my players or play a different league team. Also i’ve got about 35.000 coins to spare at the moment.

      Kind regards,
      Alan

    3. Hello!

I have just started to play FUT about 2 weeks ago but having trouble with sticking to a squad. I have always used a 4-4-2 formation for my squads since i have the opportunity to play with 2 strikers and 1 RM and 1 LM.

At the moment i have two different squads. One in the BPL league and the other in the Portguese league.

      BPL squad: https://www.futwiz.com/en/squad/1214973
      Portugese squad: https://www.futwiz.com/en/squad/1214993

I kinda enjoy playing with the portugese squad because it’s something different then the usual BPL, Bundesliga and BBVA with everyone tends to run into 85% of the time. But i feel i have hit the limits with this squad and tend to lose more and more often.

Regarding this wall of text my question is as follow: Could u please look at my two squads and help me figure out if it would be better to just focus on one squad and neglecting the other and if so, what would u prefer and which players to change?

Thanks for your time reading my text!

      1. Hi.
Welcome to our the biggest website about Ultimate Team.
We believe that you should focus in one good squad. You can see here the Portuguese League guide and here the BPL guide. You have lots of information there to help you build your squad.
If you need more help, just ask us please.

    4. Hey, nice work. I have a 85 rating BPL squad in formation 4-1-2-1-2. I want to make a hybrid squad to increase my rating without affecting my chemistry. My team is,
      GK: Joe Hart
      RB: Richards
      CB: Vidic
      CB: Kompany
      LB: Cole
      CDM: Cazrola
      RM: Navas
      LM: Willian
      CAM: Nasri
      ST: Jovetic
      ST: Negredo
      Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

    5. Dion Davies-Sowden

I am currently using a split BPL and Bundasliga and I am looking to have a change

      any suggestions

    6. Hi what do u think are the best teams to use for a hybrid squad and btw I just put the comment in this guide coz I couldn’t find any other guide that fits this question so I made a random choice thanks

    7. My defense is Ashley Cole, Terry, and Ferdinand, I then use Clichy as my RB and build that side with French players with Biabiany on the wing. On the opposite side I go with Walcott. So in essence I have two of the fastest players in the game on the Wings and my beloved Benzema at the ST. I sacrifice a bit on the chemistry so now I am trying ways to improve that, but like you have said, Hybrid teams are not easy.

    8. Great reviews, they are really helpfull,
Can you please review my squad its a hybrid
      Gk:Buffon
      LCB:Chielini
      RCB:Ramos
      LB:Alba
      RB:SIF maicon
      LCDM:Alonso
      RCDM:Pirlo
      CAM:Mata
      CAM:cazorla
      CAM:Silva
      ST:Eto’o/Upgraded Suarez
      4231 formation
      I have 100k to upgrade things etc…

      1. Hi.
It seems that some of these players don’t have individual chemistry 10. If it is the case, you will need to build your team again or make huge changes. Can you confirm it to us please ?

          1. OK. That’s not the case. Your chemistry is OK.
You team seems great but if you want to do something about your midfielders, why not testing Touré instead of Cazorla ?!
            Regards

            1. Thanks, I think I’ll keep cazorla but maybe get rid of mata or something, Is Toure a good CAM?

    9. Krishna Priyatam

Hey, I have a squad with mix of Premier League and Liga BBVA players. It is: https://www.futhead.com/14/squads/10289616/ .
I am thinking to change my striker. Should I change him to Negredo or Balotelli? I know that keeping Negredo will increase my chemisty, but I am thinking that I will get a higher profit on Balotelli, as both are priced equally. Which one should I choose? And can you suggest me any changes to my team?

    10. My current bundesliga squad is a 41212 and is as follows:
      GK: weidenfeller
      LB: up durm
      CB: inform hummels
      CB: sokratis
      RB: piszczek
      CDM: gundogan
      LM: reus
      RM: blaszczikowsi
      CAM: inform mkhitaryan
      ST: aubameyang
      ST: lewandowski

I have about 50k to spend, what changes should you suggest

        1. Try Javi Martinez or Luiz Gustavo in CDM and moving Gundogan to CAM. And Farfan is better than Błaczszykowski. Alaba? And who is Durm?

        1. What about the Russian league? It has many good players and seems to be a good league to make a guide for. Turkish and Ukranian would also be good except for the issue of having 1 club only (Galatasaray and Shaktar Donetsk wouldnt cut it for a whole guide). But Russian League seems like the next viable league. Perhaps Spanish players and Russian League?

          1. Sorry but we are now looking for other kind of guides. If you want to know more about the Turkish League you can see THIS article. It is in Portuguese and it is about FUT 13 but it is also useful.

    11. Hello
      Is the autobuyer legal??
Does it still work with the market that doesnt work anymore??
And could you trust the futmillionaraire?

        1. Could ea ban you if you use the autobuyer and how can they find you if you use an autobuyer??

          1. Yes. Sure. They can ban you if you use it. How can they find it ? They can track your activity and check if you are human or not. For example: if you bid several cards in the same second, if you don’t have a sleep time, etc… It is not easy t them to prove it.

    12. Hey Rodrigo, really enjoyed the guide and the website in general!
I just have a quick question about my squad. I am building a hybrid squad in a 4-1-2-1-2…

      GK: Casillas
      LB: Marcelo
      CB: Ramos / Silva
      RB: Alves
      CDM: ?
      LM: Willian
      CAM: Fernandinho
      RM: Lucas
      ST: Eto’o / Jovetic

So my problem is CDM… should I go with Melo (chem. 7), Ramires (chem. 10) or Paulinho (chem. 10)?

      Thanks a lot!

    13. Why isnt Defoe in unlimited budget team, at least in subs with Welbeck? You said he was the best alternative to Rooney and at least deserves to be a sub.

    14. Martin Seudil

Hi Rodrigo, can you clear something up for me?

In the english players guide you said “Kyle Walker is undoubtedly the best English right back. Micah Richards and Glen Johnson are good alternatives.”

While in the BPL guide you said “For those that search for an intermediate solution, in other word, a player that defends and attacks fairly, we advise Micah Richards. He’s a balanced athlete that still has the bonus of being the right back with the most strength in the game. It’s as you now know a very important attribute.” and also you put Richards as your choice and in your unlimited budget team.

What’s the reason that made you change your opinion?

      Thank you very much

      1. And Richards is so strong, meaning he can hold possession for longer and move farther up with the ball.

      2. Hi.
You are absolutely right. The guides should match up. We will try to explain: we have published the BPL guide on November. Since then, we have listen all the feedback that community give us. Before we published the English players guide, we have tested them again. In our opinion, Kyle Walker is better for most of the gamers, depending of their play style.
        Sorry for any inconvenience.

    15. Great Guide! But, for TEAM WITH UNLIMITED BUDGET I think the 4-4-2 is the best formation! both CM helps more defensively and offensively! and 4-4-1-1 is one Good alternative!

      1. Thank you.
We do not choose 41212 because we thought that it would be the better one. It is the formation we use on all our nations/leagues guides for the unlimited budget teams.
        Regards

        1. But this doesn’t help us, you should from now choose best formations for each budget instead of always using same one. Just a suggestion that I think we all would like to see
