FC 24 Road to the Knockouts Tracker

Road to the Knockouts cards are live items assigned to a selection of players participating on the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League.

These special items are released on the RTTK promo and receive upgrades in the following cases:

  • When their clubs win 2 of the next remaining group stage matches.
  • When their clubs advance to the group stage via the Second Round Qualification matches (only for UWCL).
  • When their clubs advance to the knockout stage;
Q: What are RTTK cards?
A: Road to the Knockouts, commonly abbreviated to RTTK, is a Special item category assigned to a very limited selection of players, replacing their regular cards at specific times. These cards celebrate the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League Group Stage and can receive upgrades.

Q: What are the ratings of RTTK items?
A: FC 24 RTTK items are released with a slight boost on rating and stats. They can be upgraded later if they meet specific conditions.

Q: How does RTTK items get upgraded?
A: In addition to an initial upgrade, players also have the potential to earn two additional upgrades during the Group Stages of UEFA club competitions:

  • Qualification
    RTTK cards are upgraded if the team qualifies for the knockout stages of their current competition (teams who qualify for the UEFA Europa League from the UEFA Champions League are not eligible for this upgrade).

  • Two wins
    RTTK Items are eligible for a one-time upgrade if the club wins two of the remaining group stage matches in either of the four tournaments.

  • Additional Upgrade
    RTTK Items from UWCL are eligible for an additional upgrade if their club successfully makes it to the Group Stage via the Second Round Qualification matches.
Q: How long does EA take to update a RTTK item?
A: Upgrades will go live in-game starting on the Friday of each matchweek. This means RTTK players will be upgraded at the end of a week following a club earning their second win of the Group Stage or after mathematically qualifying for the next round.

Q: Does a player need to play to earn upgrades?
A: No, Road to the Knockouts players do not need to have played for their team to receive any upgrade that they are eligible for.

Q: What happens if a player transfers?
A: If a player is no longer registered for the club they represent at the start of the Road to the Knockouts campaign they will not be eligible for additional upgrades.

Q: What happens if a player’s club is knocked out?
A: If a player’s club is knocked out of any of the tournaments they will not be eligible for the qualification upgrade. This includes players who qualify for the UEFA Europa league by finishing third in their UEFA Champions League group.

Q: Will there be additional upgrades?
A: Road to the Knockouts players are only eligible for upgrades during the Group Stages, however RTTK is just the start of our celebrations of the UEFA competitions with more to come in the Knockout Stages of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League.

Q: How can I get one of these cards?
A: You can get a Road to the Knockout item in the same way as any other card: in packs or on the transfer market. If you want to try your luck on packs, you can go to the store and buy them with coins or FC Points. They can be found in any pack with players’ cards, including free packs. Finding one of these cards is higher if you open a pack containing more player cards. Completing specific SBCs and objectives may also reward you with an RTTK item.
