FC 24 Showdown items are boosted based on the results of selected real-world football matches.

Showdown cards are unique items featuring improved ratings and stats, available exclusively via squad building challenges. This type of SBC highlights two players who are set to face each other in an upcoming football fixture.

The winner of the real-life match receives a +2 upgrade while the loser does not get any boost. If the match ends tied, both players receive a +1 rating and stats upgrade.

Showdown items feature dynamic images and improved stats and ratings. You cannot find them in Ultimate Team packs. To get these cards, you have to complete the respective SBC, which is available before the match usually for 48 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions
FC 24 Showdown items are unique items featuring improved ratings and stats. You can only get them if you complete the respective time-limited SBC. Depending on the result of the match, the item can receive an upgrade.
This is how FC 24 Showdown items work:

  1. One player from each side of an upcoming real-world football match is selected and available on an individual SBC for 48 hours;
  2. You can complete one or both SBCs;
  3. Once the SBC expires, the game is played;
  4. A few days later, the items receive upgrades based on the result of the fixture:
    +2 for the winning team;
    +1 for both teams if there is a draw;
    no upgrade for the defeated team.
FC 24 Showdown items are usually upgraded Thursday morning.
When a match ends with a draw, both players receive a +1 upgrade. However, when the game goes to extra-time or penalties, the winning team receives a +2 upgrade.
You won’t get Showdon items in FUT packs. Instead, you will need to complete specific SBCs to earn them.
Sure. You can complete both Showdown SBCs. This way, it is guaranteed that at least one of your players will be upgraded.
