FC 25 BUNDESLIGA POTM

The FC 25 Bundesliga Player of the Month cards are exclusive items featuring enhanced attributes, awarded to the standout performers of each month.

Each month, in collaboration with DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, Electronic Arts handpicks the most outstanding Bundesliga players from the previous month. The selection process begins by identifying the six players with the best individual performance data. These players are then shortlisted based on approximately 20 criteria.

The ultimate winner is determined through a combined voting process involving various stakeholders. This includes team captains of the 18 clubs (30% vote share), a panel of experts consisting of Bundesliga legends and media representatives (30%), and fans worldwide (40%). The recipient of the award is honored with a FC 25 Bundesliga Player of the Month item, featuring enhanced attributes, which becomes available through Squad Building Challenges (SBCs).

The FC 25 Bundesliga POTM nominees are usually announced on the first or second Wednesday of each month.

Each month, six players are selected to be voted as the best player of the month.

The FC 25 Bundesliga Player of the Month is usually announced on Thursdays, eight days after the nominees’ announcement.

Upon the official announcement of the winner, EA promptly introduces a Squad Building Challenge tailored to the recipient. By successfully completing the challenge(s), players obtain a tradeable special Player of the Month version of the winner. This version boasts augmented statistics and dynamic artwork, enhancing its value and desirability among FC enthusiasts.

The first player of the month item was assigned to the award winner of October 2018, in FIFA 19.

Each season, Electronic Arts releases eight to nine Player of the Month items from Bundesliga.
