Squad Suggestions
Building a team in FC 25 Ultimate Team can be challenging. While having the best team isn’t always feasible due to budget constraints, it’s vital to create a team that fits your style and needs.
When selecting players, carefully consider their attributes. A common mistake is choosing a team solely based on ratings. We’ll guide you through the best players for each position, focusing on their key attributes.
It’s also crucial to ensure that the players you select fit your preferred formations. For instance, having a skilled full-back won’t be beneficial if your formation only includes three defenders.
Maximizing chemistry is equally important. Many players build squads based on a single league or nation, but experienced players can create hybrid teams without sacrificing chemistry.
To cater to different player preferences and budgets, we recommend three squads with varying formations and budgets. Keep in mind that these formations are not necessarily the best for the Bundesliga but are general formations used across our squad guides.

This guide reflects our perception of the game, which may differ from yours. It is intended to serve as a general orientation rather than a definitive solution, as it’s impossible to create a team that fits everyone’s preferences. Here are the criteria we used in this guide:
- Only Gold Players: We have not considered silver and bronze players, as most of them cannot match the quality of gold players.
- Only Regular Players: This guide excludes In-Form (IF) and special items, including Icons and Heroes, which are often more expensive and may not offer good value for players with limited budgets.
- Only Normal Players: Upgraded or transferred items are not considered. We have only included players who started the season in the Premier League with their original attributes.

The choice of players for this team was based on the analysis provided in the position guides. Please refer to those guides to understand why we selected one player over others.
In goal, we suggest you choose between Neuer and Kobel, depending on your playing style. Neuer is a better choice for those who involve the goalkeeper in the team’s game due to his excellent footwork.
On the right side of the defense, we opted for the player who provides us with the most assurance, although he is still the weakest link in this team. Frimpong is fast and dribbles well, but it would be better if he had more strength and passing quality.
Quality is something abundant on the opposite side, where Alphonso Davies commands the entire flank. The defense is completed with the partnership between Upamecano and the newly arrived Kim Min Jae.
Unlike in other leagues, this formation doesn’t leave any top Bundesliga players out: Goretzka, who could also play further forward, takes on the role of a defensive midfielder who excels in building up play; Musiala spreads his magic ahead of him; Sané and Coman fill the wings with quality.
In the front line, Kane stands out for his finishing, with his lack of speed compensated by Openda’s pace If you use these players, you won’t need a manager on your team since he will be useless.

In defense, Neuer and the two center-backs are budget-friendly enough to stay in the team, and with a little effort, you can also ensure that Frimpong doesn’t need to be replaced by Mazraoui. The backline is completed with Grimaldo, an addition to this league that provides added value.
In the midfield trio, we opted for players with distinct characteristics, allowing them to attack while simultaneously maintaining the defensive sector’s security. Laimer, Brandt, and Kimmich (in the central role) were the chosen ones. Finally, in the attack, Sané and the lightning-fast Adeyemi serve Openda, the primary goal scorer.
If you use these players, you won’t need a manager for your team, as they will be useless.

In goal, our choice goes to Casteels. It won’t be because of him that you will lose. Mazraoui, Sule, Klostermann, and Grimaldo complete the defense. To further enhance the defense, consider exploring the transfer market to acquire Schlotterbeck.
In midfield, Julian Brandt and Gravenberch complement each other well. However, it may not be easy to find the Bayern version of the Dutch player, so you may need to replace him with Guerreiro.
Hofmann on the right and Gnabry on the left fill the wings to assist Becker and Schick.
This squad was built with players whose price was under 1k coins on the release date, and if you use these players, you won’t need a manager for your team. If you have a few spare coins, adding Sané would significantly improve your team.
