Squad Suggestions
Building a team in FC 25 Ultimate Team can be challenging. While having the best team isn’t always feasible due to budget constraints, it’s vital to create a team that fits your style and needs.
When selecting players, carefully consider their attributes. A common mistake is choosing a team solely based on ratings. We’ll guide you through the best players for each position, focusing on their key attributes.
It’s also crucial to ensure that the players you select fit your preferred formations. For instance, having a skilled full-back won’t be beneficial if your formation only includes three defenders.
Maximizing chemistry is equally important. Many players build squads based on a single league or nation, but experienced players can create hybrid teams without sacrificing chemistry.
To cater to different player preferences and budgets, we recommend three squads with varying formations and budgets. Keep in mind that these formations are not necessarily the best for the LaLiga but are general formations used across our squad guides.

This guide reflects our perception of the game, which may differ from yours. It is intended to serve as a general orientation rather than a definitive solution, as it’s impossible to create a team that fits everyone’s preferences. Various factors that influence choices, such as budget, formation, roles, playstyles, and individual player preferences, are unique to each player.
Here are the criteria we used in this guide:
- Only Gold Players: We have not considered silver and bronze players, as most of them cannot match the quality of gold players.
- Only Regular Players: This guide excludes In-Form (IF) and special items, including Icons and Heroes, which are often more expensive and may not offer good value for players with limited budgets.
- Only Normal Players: Upgraded or transferred items are not considered. We have only included players who started the season in the Premier League with their original attributes.

In goal, Courtois’ extra 12 cm make him a better choice than ter Stegen. Nevertheless, both are excellent goalkeepers, so you will always be well-served with either of them.
No other league offers as much quality in the center of defense as the Spanish one. Militão and Koundé provide the most assurances, but Rüdiger and Ronald Araújo can also be alternatives, especially if you need to place the Frenchman on the right side of the defense.
Excepting Koundé, Marcos Llorente is better than any other right-back. We think you should use him in this position, where he is more valuable, leaving the right side of the midfield for Raphinha.
Ferland Mendy is another player who has no competition in Spain. He’s the fastest and strongest left-back in this league.
We use this formation because it’s the one used in all our guides. However, by doing so, we miss the chance to include top-tier players who would normally have a guaranteed spot, such as Valverde, Frenkie de Jong, and Bellingham. None of them play in any other position than CM. Therefore, we entrust the defensive midfielder position to Camavinga and the attacking midfielder position to Fékir. It’s not that they are bad players, they are not, but in terms of quality, they are far from the level of someone like Valverde, for example
If you have a good budget, you cannot leave Vinícius Jr out of this team, and the same is valid for the two on the front: Griezmann and Lewandowski.

Both Courtois and ter Stegen are too expensive to be part of this team. However, that doesn’t mean you have to settle for less. Oblak is a top goalkeeper who will provide you with security in goal
In our opinion, Reinildo and José María Giménez are the best CBs under 15k coins playing in Spain. Molina and Acuña are two great options for the fullbacks. However if you want someone faster, you can pay a few more coins and use Cancelo instead of the Sevilla player.
In the midfield, we decided to blend Modric’s experience with the youthful vigor of Pedri and Camavinga. Corona and Carrasco provide solid options for the wings, with Ángel Correa taking up the most advanced position.
This squad was constructed using players priced under 15k coins at the time of release. Nevertheless, if you have some flexibility in your budget, adding Alaba and Marcos Llorente would notably enhance this lineup.

In goal, Mamardashvili is our top choice. Reinildo and Molina offer affordable options to maintain in the team, while Hermoso and Gayà are the latest additions to the defense.
In midfield, Koke and Lemar complement each other effectively. The former focuses more on defense, while the latter leans towards attack. Tsygankov on the right and Muniain on the left provide width to assist Ezequiel Ávila and Alexander Sørloth up front.
This squad was constructed using players whose prices were under 1k coins at the release date. If you still have some flexibility in your budget, there’s plenty of room for improvements. Aléx Remiro, José María Giménez, Balde, Darder, Iñaki Williams, and even João Félix would seamlessly integrate into this team.
By employing these players, you won’t require a manager on your team, as they would render the manager’s contract ineffective.
