Road to the Final

The Road to the Final promo celebrates with dynamic items, objectives and SBCs the knockout stage of UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League.

These special items are released featuring a starter upgrade and boost in rating and stats every time their teams meet the following conditions:

Win/Draw a Round of 16 match (one-time and only for UCL, UEL, and UECL);
Advance to the next round.

What are Road to the Finals cards?

Road to the Final is a special item category awarded to a select group of players, replacing their standard cards for limited periods. These cards celebrate players competing in UEFA’s knockout-stage tournaments: the Champions League, Women’s Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League. RTTF cards can be upgraded based on real-world team progress.

What are the ratings of RTTF items?

FC 25 RTTF items are released with a starter boost on rating and stats. They can be upgraded later if they meet specific conditions.

How does RTTF items get upgraded?

In addition to an initial upgrade, players also have the potential to earn additional upgrades during the Knockout Stages of UEFA club competitions:

How does 'first match' work?

All upgrades for RTTF Player Items based on the ‘first match’ are determined by the outcome of the first game their team plays after the item’s release. If a Player Item is released after their team’s initial knockout match, the upgrade will depend on the result of the subsequent knockout match, regardless of whether it goes to extra time or penalties

How long does EA take to update an RTTF item?

Any earned Road to the Final Player Item upgrades will occur at the end of each week (Friday night) when a given stage has concluded.

Does a player need to play to earn upgrades?

No. Road to the Final Player Items will receive upgrades based on their club’s progress regardless of whether or not they take part in any matches.

What happens if a player transfers?

If a player is no longer registered for the club they represent at the start of the Road to the Finals campaign they will not be eligible for additional upgrades.

What happens if a player wins and get qualified?

If a RTTF Player Item’s first match since their release is the second leg of the Round of 16 (except UWCL) and their club wins resulting in qualification for the next round, they’ll receive a double upgrade.

What happens if a player only has one PS+?

When a player qualifies for the Final, they receive a PS+, unless they already have one. In that case, they receive an additional one.

What if he wins the Final?

When players win the Final, they receive 5★ Skill Moves or 5★ Weak Foot, along with an OVR upgrade. If their previous OVR is below 95, it is increased to 96; otherwise, they receive a +1 OVR boost.

How can I get one of these cards?

You can get a Road to the Final item in the same way as any other card: in packs or on the transfer market. If you want to try your luck on packs, you can go to the store and buy them with coins or FC Points. They can be found in any pack with players’ cards, including free packs. Finding one of these cards is higher if you open a pack containing more player cards.

Completing specific SBCs and objectives may also reward you with an RTTF item.
