Showdown cards are exclusive items with enhanced ratings and statistics, accessible solely through squad building challenges. This type of SBC showcases two players who are poised to go head-to-head in an upcoming football fixture.

The victor of the real-life match earns a +2 upgrade, while the defeated player does not receive any boost. In the event of a draw, both players receive a +1 rating and statistics boost.

Showdown items boast dynamic images and upgraded stats and ratings. They are not obtainable in Ultimate Team packs. To acquire these cards, completion of the corresponding SBC is necessary, typically available for 48 hours before the match.

FC 25 Showdown items are distinct items with enhanced ratings and statistics. They are exclusively obtainable by completing the corresponding time-limited SBC. The item’s upgrade depends on the outcome of the match.
Here’s how FC 25 Showdown items operate:

  1. One player from each team participating in an upcoming real-world football match is chosen and featured in an individual SBC, available for 48 hours;
  2. You have the option to complete one or both SBCs;
  3. After the SBC expires, the match takes place;
  4. Several days later, the items receive upgrades according to the result of the fixture:
    +2 for the winning team;
    +1 for both teams if there is a draw;
    no upgrade for the defeated team.
FC 25 Showdown items are usually upgraded Thursday morning.
In the event of a draw at the end of regulation time, both players receive a +1 upgrade. However, if the game proceeds to extra time or penalties, the victorious team is awarded a +2 upgrade.
You won’t get Showdon items in packs. Instead, you will need to complete specific SBCs to earn them.
Sure. You can complete both Showdown SBCs. This way, it is guaranteed that at least one of your players will be upgraded.
