In the world of FC 25, the act of opening packs takes center stage, and EA continually strives to enhance this experience. Walkout players were first introduced in FIFA 17 to add excitement to the unveiling of cards from packs. It’s not a distinct quality category for players but rather a way to distinguish the top-tier players from the rest.
The joy of pulling a high-profile player in FC 25 is heightened by the captivating walkout animation that accompanies it. Over the years, these walkouts have been refined, incorporating more celebratory background elements and unique player animations.
If they are one of the best players in their position, their flag, league, and club (for this order) will be shown, giving you the chance to guess who they are before they are revealed.
By definition, a walkout player is 86 rated or higher but there are a few exceptions, like TOTW/Special players 84+ rated who also sprint onto the screen and perform some animation.

In previous titles, certain elements of the animation preceding a player’s entrance on stage determined the player’s quality. Those with higher ratings or special cards were accompanied by a grander display of confetti, flames, and lights.
The best way to identify if a card will be a Walkout in FC 25 is to look at the center of the image and check if there’s an outline of the tunnel, as illustrated in the image.
New last year, if a single pack contains two good players, a special animation in which both share the stage will be displayed. This is named ‘Two Walkout Players’ or ‘Double Walkout’.
