To access FC 26, log in to Electronic Arts servers using your EA ID (your player name across all EA titles) and the associated password. This login is required only once, but be sure to store your credentials securely.

When creating a password, use at least eight characters, combining letters, numbers, and special symbols. Avoid using easily guessed details and refrain from reusing passwords from other services. For added security, consider updating your password regularly.

  • when you lose or forget your password;
  • when you no longer have access to your registered email;
  • when your account is hacked, and your email is changed, preventing you from accessing your EA account.

How to sign in without a password
The FC 26 login only requires an EA ID and password. If you are facing issues when trying to sign in, follow these steps:

  1. Go to FC 26 Login page;
  2. Click ‘Forgot Your Password?‘ to reset your password;
  3. Enter your email or EA Account ID. If you don’t remember your email or ID, try logging in with a connected platform account;
  4. Check your email for a link to create a new password, and follow the instructions.

How to sign in without access to the personal email
If, for any reason, you don’t have access to your personal email, you will have to try logging in to your EA Account directly on EA Help using your connected platform account where you play your EA games:

  1. Click ‘Log In’ at the top right corner of any page on the EA Help website;
  2. On the pop-up window that appears, choose to log in with your PlayStation Network account, Xbox Live account, Steam account, Apple ID, or Facebook account;
  3. Another pop-up will appear for the platform you chose. Log in using your sign-in details for that account;
  4. If the account you sign into is linked to an EA Account, you’ll now be logged in on EA Help. You can view your account information and make updates in the EA Account Settings portal by clicking Accounts > Change email address.

How to sign if you were hacked
When your EA account is hacked, hackers typically change the email address registered on your EA account. If you don’t receive an email alerting you, you will have no way to recover your account, as you will be unable to request help since you can’t log in to the EA website. If you find yourself in this situation, don’t panic and follow these steps:

  1. Go to this dedicated link;
  2. Instead of logging in, click on ‘Chat with us’;
  3. Fill in the required information: name, email, and console;
  4. Describe your issue. If you’ve updated the email address on your EA Account within the last 30 days, our advisors won’t be able to update it to a new one. However, they can change your email address back to a previous one that was associated with your account. It’s important to ensure that your email address is not compromised before making the request.

Verification Code


EA may also ask for another authentication method: a verification code. This second layer of protection is required in the following cases:

  • When you are trying to log in to EA games or services for the first time (including FC 26 and Web/Companion App);
  • When you are trying to change your account info;
  • When you are trying to access your account from a new or unrecognized device
This security measure, which replaced the security question in FIFA 19, helps prevent logging into your EA Account from unrecognized devices without your password and verification method. The login verification process creates temporary numeric passcodes generated specifically for you.

How to Turn On Login Verification
  1. Go to your EA Account security settings page;
  2. Under Login Verification, click [Turn On];
  3. Select how you want to get your codes: email, text, call or the app authenticator;
  4. A code will be sent via the method you choose right away. Use that code to activate Login Verification.
We strongly recommend setting up multiple methods for receiving the verification code to ensure you have an alternative in case of any issues. We particularly suggest using the authenticator app as one of these options. This is the most secure choice, as it provides a verification code through the Google Authenticator app whenever needed. Simply open the app and enter the 6-digit code displayed.

How to Enable the App Authenticator
  1. Pick `[App Authenticator] when you’re setting up Login Verification and then click [Continue];
  2. Choose your device from the pull-down menu;
  3. Install the Google Authenticator app for Google Play or iPhone;
  4. Open the authenticator app and click [Begin Setup];
  5. Choose how you want to set up the authenticator:
    – Choose Scan barcode to scan the QR code from your Settings
    – Choose Manual entry to type in your EA Account’s email address and the Secret Key from your Settings;
  6. Enter the code that the authenticator gives you and click [Save].

If you play Football Club and you accepted the User Agreement, you already have an EA Account.
If you experience trouble logging into FC 26 due to an error message about expired credentials, it might be a result of prolonged inactivity. In this case, try resetting your EA Account password. If the issue continues, wait for 90 minutes before trying again, as frequent and quick password reset attempts may contribute to the problem.
Consoles
  1. Scroll right in the main FC 26 menu to [Customise];
  2. Open [Online Settings];
  3. Open [EA Account]. Here you’ll find your public ID, your email address that’s linked to your EA Account, and your join date.
Origin
  1. If you don’t already have Origin installed on your computer, download and install it;
  2. Launch the Origin client and sign in to your EA Account with your EA ID and password;
  3. Click on your EA ID at the bottom of the client and then on [EA Account & Billing];
  4. A browser window will open with a page for My Account. On the [About Me] tab, you’ll see a preview of your email address with asterisks;
  5. Click [Edit] next to Email Address;
  6. Verify your identity.
It’s recommended to use an email address that remains consistently accessible. Email addresses linked to private domains, such as those from school or work, may expire when you graduate or leave the organization. Choosing free providers like Yahoo or Gmail ensures smoother account and password recovery if needed.
You can update all account information (like your email address, name, date of birth, and more), but there could be restrictions based on your country’s laws, and your ID can only be changed once every 72 hours.
  1. Go to your EA Account billing settings;
  2. Click on the [About Me] tab;
  3. Click [Edit] next to [Email Address] to update your email;
  4. Change your email after confirming your identity.
A secondary email helps you reset your password if you’re locked out of your EA Account and primary email address.
  1. Go to your EA Account security settings page;
  2. Click in [Secondary Email] and then in [Add Secondary Email];
  3. Enter an email address different from the one registered to your EA Account;
  4. Log in to that email address and find the security code email sent;
  5. Enter your security code in the EA Account settings verification window.
Once set up, your secondary email will receive the same password reset instructions and confirmations when you reset your password as your primary email address.
You can turn off at anytime but you will lose access to Ultimate Team and the Web App.
Try to add as many methods as possible.
  1. When you are trying to log in to EA games or services for the first time (including FC 26 and Web/Companion App);
  2. Go to your EA Account security settings;
  3. Under [Login Verification], find [Preferences] and click [Edit]. It may be asked you to verify your account;
  4. Choose the new method you want to add to your account and click [Send Code];
  5. Use that code to activate Login Verification for a new method.
Each code has a restricted duration. If you are utilizing the app authenticator and the code’s timer is nearing expiration, wait for a new code to ensure you have ample time to enter it. If you are employing an alternative method, request a new code.
If you are not getting the verification code to your email address, try resending your security code or setting up a secondary email address to send to.
In the event of a lost phone, malfunctioning authenticator app, and inaccessible email address, backup codes become the sole means to sign in to your EA Account on a new device.
You can view and renew these codes in your EA Account Security settings. Go to [Backup Codes] and click [View] to find them. Write your backup codes down and keep them in a safe place so you’ll always be able to log in when you need to.
