Follow the Rules

When creating an EA Account, you agree to follow EA’s User Agreement, Rules of Conduct and Positive Play Charter. These rules are intended to protect the integrity of Football Club and provide a fair, safe and positive experience for every player.

Cheating, collusion, exploiting glitches, disrupting gameplay and using unauthorised software are prohibited. If you encounter someone who may be breaking these rules, you can report them through the game or the appropriate EA reporting channel.

You may also report abusive behaviour or content that violates EA’s guidelines, including content that is harmful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, degrading, intimidating or discriminatory.

Games should encourage enjoyment, creativity and positive connections. If you experience harassment, encounter offensive content or feel threatened while playing FC 27, report the incident and consider blocking or muting the player when those options are available.

Reporting

The recommended reporting method depends on what happened. Use FC 27’s in-game reporting tools whenever they are available, as this helps EA route the report correctly and provides relevant information about the incident.

If an appropriate in-game option is not available, you can submit a report through the EA Player Report tool. You may be asked to identify the game or product, provide the player’s username, select the reason for the report and describe when the incident occurred.

Offensive messages, usernames, voice communications and other content shared through PlayStation Network or Xbox should also be reported directly through the relevant platform. Suspected cheating during an FC 27 match should be reported through the game or EA Help rather than through the platform’s messaging report system.

Provide accurate and relevant information whenever possible. This may include the player’s EA ID or Online ID, the date and approximate time of the incident, the game mode, the platform and a clear description of what happened. Screenshots or video recordings can also help you preserve evidence of the incident when applicable.

Due to privacy restrictions, Electronic Arts may not disclose the result of an investigation or any action taken against another player’s account. Filing false or misleading reports, or misusing EA’s reporting tools, may itself violate EA’s rules.

Cheating, harassment and offensive content are prohibited under EA’s rules and may result in warnings, content removal, in-game restrictions, suspensions or permanent account bans.
