FC 27 CHEMISTRY
FC 27 Chemistry reflects whether players are in their natural positions and how well they connect with each other and their manager.
Chemistry Impact
FC 27 Chemistry is crucial in determining how well your players perform on the pitch, indicating how efficiently they will execute actions during a match. Higher chemistry results in better performance.
Each player can earn between zero and three Chemistry Points, displayed as filled blue diamonds on their item. Attributes influenced by the active chemistry style receive a small, medium, or full boost depending on the points earned. Players with zero chemistry points rely solely on their base stats, without any negative effects.
FC 27 Chemistry evaluates several key elements that influence player performance:
- Natural positioning;
- Familiarity with teammates;
- Connection with the manager.
Positioning
Positioning is essential for chemistry. Only players in their preferred positions contribute to it. If a player is out of position, their chemistry will be zero and they will not count towards their teammates’ chemistry.
In Ultimate Team, players can have multiple preferred positions that do not affect chemistry. Simply ensure the active position matches where the player is currently deployed.
Relation with the other Players
If a player in your starting XI is playing in his preferred position, he will be able to earn up to three chemistry points, depending on how many players in your Starting XI
- +1 when 2 players are from the same club or country;
- +1 when 3 players are from the same league;
- +2 when 4 players are from the same club;
- +2 when 5 players are from the same country or league;
- +3 when 7 players are from the same club;
- +3 when 8 players are from the same country or league.
Icons and Heroes always have three chemistry points when deployed in their preferred positions, regardless of the rest of the squad. Icons add two increments to their nation chemistry and one increment to each league, while Heroes contribute one increment to their nation and two to the league.
Relation with the Manager
Any player who shares the same nationality or league as the active manager receives an extra chemistry point. This manager bonus is limited to one point, even if the player matches both the manager’s country and league. If needed, a league modifier card can be used to match the manager’s league with the player’s.
