FC 27 EDITIONS
FC 27 is available in three editions: Standard, Ultimate, and Ultimate Plus, each featuring different release dates, prices, and bonus content.
FC 27 Editions
EA Sports FC 27 is available in three editions: Standard, Ultimate and Ultimate+. Every edition includes the full game, but their release dates, prices and bonus content are different.
The Standard Edition is the least expensive option and launches on 25 September 2026. The Ultimate and Ultimate+ Editions provide up to seven days of early access, alongside additional Football Ultimate Team, Career Mode and The Grounds content.
Ultimate+ includes the most FC Points and Premium Passes, but it is only available during the Early Bird pre-order window, which ends on 31 August 2026 at 16:00 UTC.
FC 27 Standard Edition
FC 26 bonus content requires FC 26, sold separately, and is not included with Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 or physical editions. The Grounds content is not available on PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch.

FC 27 Ultimate Edition
Pre-orders placed by 31 August 2026 at 16:00 UTC include the 85+ OVR International ICON Player Item and a 1 of 4 93+ OVR ICON Player Pick for FC 26. Later pre-orders receive a single 93+ OVR ICON Player Item for FC 26 and do not include the International ICON.

FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition
The Ultimate+ Edition is only available until 31 August 2026 at 16:00 UTC. It is not sold through the Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, and cannot be purchased or upgraded to after the offer expires.
Ultimate+ Edition Offers
The Ultimate+ Edition includes the Ultimate Edition Early Bird content, with 10,000 FC Points and Premium Passes for Seasons 1–5 replacing the corresponding Ultimate Edition offers, plus the following exclusive bonuses. It is only available between July 23 and August 31, 2026.
SEP 18Premium Passes for Seasons 1–5
Receive the Premium Pass for each of the first five Seasons instead of only the Season 1 Premium Pass included with the Ultimate Edition. Each Premium Pass becomes available during its corresponding Season and must be used before that Season ends.
SEP 1810,000 FC Points
Receive 10,000 FC Points instead of the 6,000 included with the Ultimate Edition. They are delivered in five instalments of 2,000, with the first granted upon your initial Ultimate Team login and the remaining four delivered monthly.

The Ultimate+ Edition is not available through Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2.
Release Dates
For Football Club fans, the main advantage of the Ultimate Edition is early access. While Standard Edition players must wait until midnight on launch day, Ultimate Edition owners can begin playing a full seven days in advance.
The FC 27 trial is limited to only 10 hours of gameplay, which may leave many players wanting more. Opting for the Ultimate and Ultimate+ Editions provides unlimited access to the full game, ensuring the best possible head start.

FC 27 Edition Prices
FC 27 prices vary according to the edition, platform, region and retailer. The Standard Edition is the least expensive option, while Ultimate and Ultimate+ cost more because they include early access and additional in-game content.
Ultimate+ is the most expensive edition and is aimed primarily at regular Football Ultimate Team players who expect to use its 10,000 FC Points, five Premium Passes and Hall of FUT Player Pick.

The Legacy Edition was previously released for Nintendo Switch with limited feature updates. Since FC 25, EA has offered the regular Standard and Ultimate editions on Nintendo Switch instead.
Ultimate Edition includes seven days of early access, which means players can start playing from September 18, 2026.
On consoles, early access begins at midnight on 18 September according to the region associated with the console store. On PC, it begins simultaneously worldwide on 17 September at 23:00 UTC.

Yes. Ultimate+ includes the Ultimate Edition Early Bird content, but replaces 6,000 FC Points with 10,000 and the Season 1 Premium Pass with Premium Passes for Seasons 1–5. It also adds the Hall of FUT Player Pick and the FC 26 99 PHY Stat Evolution.

The FC Points are delivered in monthly instalments:
- Ultimate Edition
6,000 FC Points in three instalments of 2,000. The first is granted when you initially log in to Ultimate Team. The other two are delivered no later than the 15th day of each of the following two months; - Ultimate+ Edition:
10,000 FC Points in five instalments of 2,000. The first is granted when you initially log in to Ultimate Team. The other four are delivered monthly, no later than the 15th day of each following month.
To receive the full amount, you must claim the first instalment by August 1, 2027 for the Ultimate Edition or by June 1, 2027 for the Ultimate+ Edition. No FC Points will be granted if the content is redeemed after September 26, 2027.
Offer for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the Product does not include the EA SPORTS FC 26 Content.
If you share your console with someone, the rewards will be assigned only to the account used to buy the game. This cannot be changed.
When you start FC 27 for the first time (not counting with the Trial or Web App), go to the UT store and your offers will be there. Keep in mind that some offers are only delivered later. The 85+ OVR International ICON Player Item, for example, is not delivered before September 18 at 6PM UK time.
