FC 27 has three editions, Standard, Ultimate, Ultimate+ Edition, featuring different release dates, prices and pre-orders offers.
FC 27 Editions
Since 1993, EA Sports has launched a new FIFA title every year. It wasn’t until FIFA 18, however, that Electronic Arts began offering multiple editions of the same game, each with unique content. This approach aimed to provide players with tailored experiences, enhance engagement, and increase revenue.
FC 27 comes in three editions, something that wasn’t happening since 2020: Standard, Ultimate and Ultimate Plus. Each edition has its own release date, pricing, and exclusive pre-order bonuses.

FC Points and the Full-Cycle Content are not exclusive to pre-orders. All other bonuses are part of the Early Bird offer and are delivered when you first access the relevant mode on your console or PC.

The Ultimate+ Edition provides the largest collection of FC 27 bonuses and is exclusively offered as an Early Bird edition.

Release Dates
For Football Club fans, the main advantage of the Ultimate Edition is early access. While Standard Edition players must wait until midnight on launch day, Ultimate Edition owners can begin playing a full seven days in advance.
The FC 27 trial starts eight days before the official release but is limited to only 10 hours of gameplay, which may leave many players wanting more. Opting for the Ultimate and Ultimate+ Editions provides unlimited access to the full game, ensuring the best possible head start.

FC 27 Edition Prices
If the cost were the same, the Ultimate Plus Edition would clearly be the preferred option. It includes everything in the other editions along with additional content, which explains its higher price.

You’ll get your first batch as soon as you log into Ultimate Team, your second by the end of the next month, and the final one by the end of the following month.
