First To…

First To… is one of the seven options available in the Kick Off mode but is not accessible in the Ultimate Team.

In this match format, the game ends once one of the competing teams successfully scores a predetermined number of goals. Unlike traditional matches played for a fixed duration, this variation emphasizes achieving a specific goal target. When one team reaches the established goal count, the match concludes, and that team wins.

This format intensifies competition and strategic planning as teams aim to reach the goal threshold before their opponents, adding suspense and anticipation to the gameplay.

How To Access FC 27 First To… in Kick Off

How it Works

After selecting First To…, you will be prompted to choose the number of goals required to win before selecting the teams. You can set the target from one to five goals, and the first team to reach that total wins the match.

Unlike a traditional match, First To… does not use the usual time limit. The game continues for as long as necessary and ends immediately when either team scores the selected number of goals. There is no extra time or penalty shootout.

The selected target has a direct effect on the length and style of the match. A First To 1 game can end after a single successful attack, while choosing a higher target creates a longer contest with more opportunities for either team to recover from conceding.

Matches in this mode are generally quicker and more intense than traditional games. The format rewards attacking play and concentration, as every goal brings a team closer to victory and there is no match clock to protect a lead.
