FC 27 MANAGER CAREER
FC 27 Manager Career is a game mode that offers you the chance to play through a lifelong manager career.
New Features
Manager Career in FC 27 introduces a rebuilt Transfer Market, more dynamic player development and new ways to create and share custom career scenarios.
The main additions include TransferRoom-inspired player valuations, multi-stage negotiations, Dynamic OVR, Growth Profiles, Squad Ranks, Manager Live Creator Challenges, expanded Unexpected Events and the new Practice Arena.
FC 27 also adds deeper simulation, more transparent scouting information, generated player data, Liga MX, improved tutorials and Authentic Gameplay 2.0.
Manager Live Creator Challenges
Manager Live Creator Challenges are a new way to create, publish and share custom Manager Career scenarios in FC 27. Using the Creator Portal in a web browser, you can define the clubs, competitions, objectives, restrictions and starting conditions for each Challenge.
Every published Challenge receives a unique Share Code and can be accessed by other players across platforms. You can share your scenarios with friends, track how often they are played and receive community feedback through upvotes.
The Manager Live Hub has also been expanded to include more EA-created and community-created Challenges. New filters and sorting options make it easier to discover scenarios based on leagues, countries, clubs and other preferences.
The My Challenges section allows you to create, publish, play, share and manage your own scenarios. Inappropriate content can be reported, and community-created Challenges can be hidden if you prefer to play only official content.
Rebuilt Transfer Market
Manager Career features a completely rebuilt Transfer Market designed to make recruitment more realistic, dynamic and strategically important.
Player valuations are informed by TransferRoom’s Expected Transfer Value system and can change throughout a career according to market conditions, player form, league strength and other factors.
Transfers now progress through several stages instead of being resolved in a single conversation. An enquiry is followed by a response from the relevant club or player, after which negotiations can begin if permission is granted.
Deals can develop over time and may include transfer battles, hijack attempts, last-minute renegotiations and different financial structures. Managers can also use clauses such as performance payments, buyback options and future transfer rights.
The Transfer Hub and negotiation screens have been redesigned, while the new Player Actions list provides faster access to transfer targets, squad management and other common actions.
More Improvements
Rebuilt Transfer Market
Manager Career features a completely rebuilt Transfer Market with more realistic player valuations, smarter club behaviour and a more dynamic negotiation process.
TransferRoom Values
Player valuations are informed by TransferRoom’s Expected Transfer Value system. Values can evolve throughout a career and take factors such as form, league strength and the wider market into account.
Transfer Stages
Transfers now develop through several stages instead of being resolved in a single conversation. Enquiries, permission to negotiate, club discussions and player negotiations can take place over time, creating opportunities for transfer battles, hijack attempts and last-minute renegotiations.
More Transfer Options
Negotiations support a wider range of clauses and financial structures, including performance-related payments, buyback clauses, future transfer rights and other conditions that can shape an agreement.
Dynamic OVR
Player Overall Ratings can change according to Form, Morale, Match Fitness and injuries. Strong performances can increase a player’s rating, while poor form, morale problems or fitness concerns can reduce it.
Growth Profiles
Six Growth Profiles determine how players develop, reach their peak and decline throughout their careers. Different profiles influence how Attribute groups evolve, creating more varied development paths.
Squad Ranks
A new evaluation system estimates the impact of each player in your squad. Coaches assess players already at the club, while Scouts provide information about potential signings. The accuracy of these assessments depends on staff knowledge.
Max Positions
Players can now have up to seven positions. Secondary preferred positions no longer automatically penalise a player, while the Baseline OVR is determined dynamically according to the position being played.
Dynamic Potential
Player development is more closely connected to performances. Consistently exceeding expectations can improve a player’s long-term ceiling, while prolonged poor form can reduce development momentum. Dynamic Potential also applies to AI teams in selected Deeper Simulation leagues.
Improved Scouting
Player Attributes are revealed immediately, while scouting reports now provide additional information in four areas: Tactical Fit, Future, Financial Assessment and Status. This helps managers evaluate performance, potential, transfer interest and the likely cost of a signing.
Unexpected Events
Unexpected Events have been expanded with new injuries, financial penalties, dressing-room conflicts, training incidents and other situations that can affect a career. Some events can develop through several stages, with later consequences depending on previous decisions.
Press Conferences
Press conferences now occur less frequently but have greater importance. Questions are linked to recent results, squad situations and managerial decisions, with each answer influencing relationships and the manager’s identity in a different way.
Practice Arena
The Practice Arena is available from the Career Central Hub. Managers can play 11v11 practice matches with the starting eleven against reserve players, test tactical changes and use scenarios or free kicks. Practice Matches inherit the selected gameplay settings and sliders.
Deeper Simulation
Deeper Simulation now includes current and previous-season performances and supports up to ten selected leagues. This provides more information about form, consistency, competitions, scouting and squad planning.
Generated Player Data
Generated players use a new data system designed to create more variety in long-term careers. Retired players still influence the overall distribution of potential, but generated players no longer simply inherit the data of the player they replace.
Liga MX
Liga MX joins Manager Career with official clubs, squads, kits and its Apertura and Clausura competition structure.
New Transfer and Rumour Stories
Social Media posts and overlays now react more closely to transfer activity, rival moves, major financial decisions, profitable sales, free-agent signings and players on the shortlist.
Manager Customisation
Managers can use new clothing categories, including Full Tops, Outer Tops and Inner Tops. The available styles cover Sports, Casual, Classic and Formal appearances, with curated combinations for a more authentic look.
New Tutorial Setting
A new tutorial setting allows players to keep all tutorials enabled, disable them for future saves or display only tutorials related to features introduced in FC 27.
Youth Player Presentation
Youth player portrait captures use improved lighting to provide a more natural and consistent appearance. The Youth Tournament trophy also receives a unique design.
Authentic Gameplay 2.0
Manager Career benefits from more realistic movement, smarter CPU behaviour, stronger physical interactions and greater match-to-match variety. Weather can affect player footing, fatigue is more visible and CPU teams use more distinctive tactical approaches.
Additional Gameplay Sliders
FC 27 adds new Gameplay and CPU Sliders. CPU settings are divided into CPU Opponent and CPU Teammate categories, allowing managers to adjust both groups independently.
