FC 27 Mystery Ball is a friendly game mode where a special ball introduces random effects that change player attributes and gameplay conditions.

Mystery Ball is a friendly game mode available in Ultimate Team through selected Live Events. It is also available in Kick Off mode.
When the ball goes out of play, it may return with a random effect that boosts Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Speed or all four attributes. The active boost benefits the team in possession, so the advantage can change sides whenever possession is lost.
Each Mystery Ball also carries a goal value ranging from one to three. Depending on the active multiplier, a goal can add more than one to the scoreboard and quickly change the course of the match.
How To Access FC 27 Mystery Ball in Kick Off
- From the main FC 27 screen, navigate to [Kick Off];
- Select [House Rules];
- Select [Mystery Ball].
How It Works
When the ball goes out of play, it may return as one of five Mystery Ball types. The active effect benefits the team in possession and remains available until the ball leaves the pitch again.
Each Mystery Ball provides a powerful boost in one category:
- Shooting;
- Passing;
- Dribbling;
- Speed;
- All attributes.
