FC 27 Online Friendlies allow players to challenge their friends to friendly matches over the internet.
Play Online Against Your Friends
FC 27 Online Friendlies is a mode that lets you play casual online matches against people on your friends list using real clubs and national teams.
You can customise match settings, select your team and invite an eligible friend to play. Results against each friend are tracked through Friendly Seasons, allowing you to compete for a seasonal trophy.
Online Friendlies is separate from Ultimate Team Friendlies. It does not use your Ultimate Team squad and does not provide Ultimate Team rewards.
How to Access FC 27 Online Friendlies
- From the main Football Club screen, navigate to [Friendly Modes];
- Select [Online Friendlies].
How to Invite a Friend
Your friend must be online and available to receive the invitation. They must also be using a compatible platform and game version.
How to Start an Online Friendly Season
- From the Online Friendlies screen, select [New Friendly Season];
- Choose an eligible friend from your friends list;
- Configure the match settings and send the invitation;
- The match will begin after your friend accepts the invitation.
Friendly Seasons
Online Friendlies lets you compete against each friend across a five-match season. Players earn three points for a win and one point for a draw.
The player with the most points at the end of the season wins the trophy. If the title is decided before all five matches are played, the season may end early.
Your record is tracked separately for each friend, including results, points and trophies won. Once a season ends, you can start a new one and continue the rivalry.
Crossplay
Online Friendlies supports crossplay between compatible platforms from the same generation. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC players can play together, while PlayStation 4 and Xbox One form a separate group.
Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 players can only play against users on the same Nintendo platform. Crossplay must be enabled for invitations between supported platforms.
