FC 27 TAX

An FC 27 Tax applies to every item sold in the Ultimate Team transfer market.

Tax

In Ultimate Team, EA deducts a tax equal to 5% of the final sale price whenever an item is successfully sold on the Transfer Market. The fee applies to tradeable Player Items, consumables and other eligible items, regardless of their value.

For example, if you sell an item for 24,000 coins, the Ultimate Team Tax is 1,200 coins, meaning that 22,800 coins are added to your balance. The deduction is applied automatically after the sale. No tax is charged when buying or listing an item, or when a listing expires without being sold.

This tax removes coins from circulation, helping to limit inflation and regulate the Ultimate Team economy. It also means that selling an item for more than its purchase price does not necessarily guarantee a profit.

Always consider the Ultimate Team Tax before listing an item. To calculate your actual profit, subtract both the original purchase price and the 5% tax from the final sale price.
